The reviews were good, the desk folks were very friendly. Location great, central location to shops, restaurants, hot springs. The disappointment was, paper thin walls, you could hear every door close, people in the hot tub way after 10: and loud. No back up toilet paper or tissues and the office was closed until after 9:00 am . Yes, the... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this older property near cliff sides. We'd arrived at Ouray about an hour before dusk without reservations and drove the streets to see where we might get a room. This place didn't look crowded, which was a plus for 2 weary travelers. There were a few other cars in the parking lot so we hesitated... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Cascade Falls Lodge. They are under new management that went out of the way to make us comfortable. The wifi worked, they had a micro wave, coffee maker, air conditioner and the towels were not paper thin. I felt like I was at an old Adirondak motel in the mid 60's but that's... More

Would never stay here again! Over priced for what it offers. The bed was uncomfortable with only one pillow for each of us, my husband & I. The towels ar paper thin, not to mention the toilet paper. My husband asked the owner if there was WIFI and she said NO, but that we could "steal it" from the neighbours!... More

The rate advertised on their own website - http://www.ouraycascadefallslodge.com/rates.html - was $60 for a queen. When I arrived the rate suddenly jumped up to $79. When I said I saw the online rate and would like that, the comment was "Oh, that is not correct." I told the lady that since they were not honoring the advertised price I would... More

If this happened in this way I am sorry. This was a weekend and on our rate page on our website underneath the rates it states the rates do not apply to weekends or holidays. I should have told this person this and not that the website was wrong. I apologize for the misunderstanding and hope their stay in Ouray... More

Very unfriendly to families with kids. Very nosey and bothersome owner. Grumpy and spying on the windows. Not very nice people.

We at Cascade Falls Lodge do not make a habit of spying on our guests. These guests had five small children in one room while the adults were in another room. We were outside at our picnic table when we noticed the children were bouncing on the beds, running in and out slamming doors and swinging on the lamps. Our... More

Charming, old-fashioned motel. Clean, cozy, but no continental breakfast, only coffee. Very helpful desk person. Affordable. But it is for sale. Hope the next owner keeps it all the same.

Went to Ouray on the spur of the moment trip to go Jeepin and did not have any reservations--so we just drove into Ouray and drove around and we spotted this hotel. Looked very clean and inviting on the outside so we decided to stop. Glad we did! Affordable room (Two Queens for $104 w/tax for the night during High/Summer... More

Cascade Falls Lodge is a very unpretentious little hotel a minute walk from the main street in Ouray, serving all your needs and a little bit extra. The lodge has a nice, relaxed feel, and caters for the type of people who like to keep their own food in a personal fridge in the room, and who like to sit... More

We stayed at Cascade Falls for one night - the last night of our road trip. The owner was very nice and directed us to a good restaurant. The room was large and included a queen bed, table and chairs, desk, dresser, small fridge and microwave and a TV with a good picture (we had stayed elsewhere with bad reception).... More
