This property has very nice grounds, but needs to update bedding. Bring your own pillow unless you like square hard pillows. My sheets had 2 long dark strands of hair on them and the sheets had pills/balls, which I do not like. The towels were stained from who knows what. I stayed in the Cascade Falls Lodge for 5 nights (Sept. 23-28th). The Lodge is very clean and comfortable. The Lodge is owned and ran by the owners. I have stayed at a few other accomadations in and around Ouray over a 15 year period. Some of the ones that are chains, the people just work there and pass on... more

Ouray, CO is a little town surrounded on all sides by mountains. Passing through on a trip last year, I decided that I had to come back and stay for a while. The views there are just breathtaking!
