The rate advertised on their own website - http://www.ouraycascadefallslodge.com/rates.html - was $60 for a queen. When I arrived the rate suddenly jumped up to $79. When I said I saw the online rate and would like that, the comment was "Oh, that is not correct." I told the lady that since they were not honoring the advertised price I would... More

If this happened in this way I am sorry. This was a weekend and on our rate page on our website underneath the rates it states the rates do not apply to weekends or holidays. I should have told this person this and not that the website was wrong. I apologize for the misunderstanding and hope their stay in Ouray... More

Very unfriendly to families with kids. Very nosey and bothersome owner. Grumpy and spying on the windows. Not very nice people. More

We at Cascade Falls Lodge do not make a habit of spying on our guests. These guests had five small children in one room while the adults were in another room. We were outside at our picnic table when we noticed the children were bouncing on the beds, running in and out slamming doors and swinging on the lamps. Our... More

Charming, old-fashioned motel. Clean, cozy, but no continental breakfast, only coffee. Very helpful desk person. Affordable. But it is for sale. Hope the next owner keeps it all the same. More

Went to Ouray on the spur of the moment trip to go Jeepin and did not have any reservations--so we just drove into Ouray and drove around and we spotted this hotel. Looked very clean and inviting on the outside so we decided to stop. Glad we did! Affordable room (Two Queens for $104 w/tax for the night during High/Summer... More

Cascade Falls Lodge is a very unpretentious little hotel a minute walk from the main street in Ouray, serving all your needs and a little bit extra. The lodge has a nice, relaxed feel, and caters for the type of people who like to keep their own food in a personal fridge in the room, and who like to sit... More

We stayed at Cascade Falls for one night - the last night of our road trip. The owner was very nice and directed us to a good restaurant. The room was large and included a queen bed, table and chairs, desk, dresser, small fridge and microwave and a TV with a good picture (we had stayed elsewhere with bad reception).... More

This lodge is a block off the main street but within walking distance from the attractions there. The room was very clean, the shower was awesome and the bed was comfortable. The customer service was great. Coffee in the room and also in the lobby if you need more. Plenty of ice to fill our ice chest for our days... More

We stayed two nights and Ted and Sandy, the owners, were very gracious and welcoming. They have a large hobby train set outside that they turned on and demonstrated for our 5-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter. Our kids loved it! More

This hotel is located within walking distance to Main St., Ouray and all the shops and restaurants. Outside entry into the rooms. Rooms are clean and customer service was great. All the normal toiletries provided (except I think they just forgot to replenish a complimentary shampoo), hairdryer, fridge and microwaves and single cup coffee maker in the room (coffee was... This property has very nice grounds, but needs to update bedding. Bring your own pillow unless you like square hard pillows. My sheets had 2 long dark strands of hair on them and the sheets had pills/balls, which I do not like. The towels were stained from who knows what. Either they need to start washing and sanitizing at a... More

We are very saddened these guests did not like our establishment. My husband and I try very hard to meet the needs of all our guests so their stay is pleasant for them...However we do not know there is a problem if the guests do not inform us of their issues and concerns. We actually do our own washing of... More
