A great place for a big rig. Large spaces, trees. The KOA is very well kept and the owners are great. Wonderful to take walks around the park, sit by the stream (it might be an irrigation water way-but soothing never the less). Ouray is about 10 minutes away.

We had four rv sites and one deluxe cabin for eight nights. The rv sites had plenty of room, the cabin was great and the staff was very helpful. Great location, away from the town and highway, but still close enough to enjoy everything Ouray had to offer. Would definitely go back.

While we didnt stay at this camping facility, they are locally known for their great bbq and its open to the public. Good portions included baked potato, roll, beans and meats. Brisket, chicken, ribs and more. Full bar and music two nights/week in season.

We stayed in one of the cabins by the pond for two days. The place was very nice, lots of room and very welcoming. The campground is spread out with places to walk and enjoy nature. There is a cafe with music and food and the owners are always around, making sure everyone is having a good time. You can... More

The usual koa amenities bathrooms, laundry, koa cafe, store etc. Unique firewood sold by the wheelbarrow 12 sticks for 7ish bucks. Cafe dinner on the weekends seemed a bit overpriced almost 17 bucks for brisket dinner thus we passed. Jeep rental check out was painful took almost an hour and goofy using carbon paper when they made copies of drivers... More

I love this campground! The staff is always friendly and helpful and you are always surrounded by nice neighbors. The only downside is s clear shot for satellite. On the upside you are very close to town with some fun shopping and restaurants, not to mention it is beautiful in every direction you look. I would highly recommend it everyone!

We had a nice 4-day tent-camping stay at the Ouray KOA with 2 kids 5 & 7. Very pleasant place. Lots of RVs, but we had a nice site and didn't feel crowded. Nice individual bathrooms with showers. When it was too rainy to cook breakfast one morning, we had a tasty (if slightly pricey) breakfast at the cafe. The... More

Overall, I had a pleasant experience at this campground. I was in the area on a weekend and wanted to have a site that was reservable versus first come first served. I had a back in site with electric, water, and sewer. There is no TV reception in this area with a basic antenna. I had reliable Verizon service at... More

Only stayed one night in a cabin but will make a effort to return to the area. The campground will be closing for the season on Oct 1 so we managed to stay there just in time. The host was very friendly and we had time to catch up on laundry and get some much needed rest. The cabin was... More

This KOA is definitely one of our favorites. We stay in so many different camping places, from Rv parks to dirt camps and when reviews are mixed in a city we will always fall back on a KOA. This one is wonderful, big sites, not on top if each other. Lots of trees and plenty of room! We are so... More
