Overall, I had a pleasant experience at this campground. I was in the area on a weekend and wanted to have a site that was reservable versus first come first served. I had a back in site with electric, water, and sewer. There is no TV reception in this area with a basic antenna. I had reliable Verizon service at... More

Only stayed one night in a cabin but will make a effort to return to the area. The campground will be closing for the season on Oct 1 so we managed to stay there just in time. The host was very friendly and we had time to catch up on laundry and get some much needed rest. The cabin was... More

This KOA is definitely one of our favorites. We stay in so many different camping places, from Rv parks to dirt camps and when reviews are mixed in a city we will always fall back on a KOA. This one is wonderful, big sites, not on top if each other. Lots of trees and plenty of room! We are so... More

The Ouray KOA is tucked away a half mile from the #550. Nice sites, reserve EARLY! Popular for their Creekside cafe and weekend entertainers. Close to all that Ridgway/Ouray has to offer! Nice people!

My family of 5 spent two nights here tent camping... Over the course of a two week trip we stayed in several campgrounds this one was our favorite. They treated us very well and the camping site we had was huge. I enjoyed the quiet hours they enforce this made our stay so much nicer than most place we experienced... More

Our first visit to this campground was in 2002. We come back as often as we can (usually once a year). We really love the forest feel and the location. The campground is quiet and clean. The bathrooms/showers at the back of the campground could use an update, but overall we love everything here. The employees are all friendly and... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Ouray KOA. The campground was quiet and the staff was friendly. Do yourself a favor and eat one meal at the on site BBQ. The night I was there, they had live, local entertainment, that was actually quite good. The WiFi was extremely slow and there is no cable TV. The water, electric,... More

We checked out all three of Ouray's RV parks and settled on this one. It's very cramped - as are most RV parks, but at least this one had a stream that ran through the property (not at the edges, but through the middle between the parking spots). Each spot had a picnic table and fire ring and the most... More

The owner is downright rude. Was very disrespectful to my elderly mother. We were told that we were not allowed to be outside after 10pm. Ridiculous when you have a curfew at a campground! I've stayed here before, but will never EVER give this place another dime. I told the owner this and his response was, "Good"! What kind of... More

Blown away. The staff and owners of this KOA go above and beyond. The facilities were well-kept with clean bathrooms, a small convenient store, laundry facilities, and a kitchen that serves breakfast and dinner. The grounds are close to Ridgway and it is a 30-40 minute drive to Telluride. It's right in the heart of Off-road Heaven. Speaking of... I... More
