Wonderful place to stay with attentive staff and Linda, the owner who is very nice and is on premises 24/7. Rooms are a little dated but very clean and comfortable. The vapor cave was like nothing I have ever experienced and was very enjoyable and relaxing. We were there for three nights and looked forward to utilizing the vapor cave... More

Older hotel with small rooms but with tons of charm. The focus is on the hot springs and its a great place for that! We had the large Sunroom and it was great! Linda the Holte owner is very, very nice and a delight to talk to.

It's great having the pool and vapor cave handy. But we paid nearly $200 a night during a race weekend for a teeny room with a wobbly creeky floor. It's a spa hotel with no shampoo or moisturizer in the room! Location around the nicely planted courtyard was good though.

We did not stay at the lodge this time around (last visit was in '06), since we are actually staying in Pagosa Springs. We made a day trip to enjoy their vapor cave and naturally heated pool for $15/pp for 3 hours. The vapor cave is as intense as I remember it. At 109 degrees, you can only handle the... More

I've stayed at the Wiesbaden about 10 times and enjoy each trip more than the last. It's five star location is as memorable as it's large outdoor soaking pool. Be sure to enjoy the pool at night under the stars or early in the quiet of morning. The private pool is also worth a soak, if it comes as part... More

We stayed at the Wiesbaden due to a friend's recommendation. It is a historic property with a lot of character. Everything was clean and quaintly decorated. My daughter loved the antique toys in the hall. The staff was friendly and helpful. The best part was the vapor cave, very unique and worth checking out. We liked that it was not... More

Imagine sitting in natural hot springs under a star-filled sky, solitary and quiet, as Roscoe the Fox slips silently by the edge of the hot spring pool, or deer nibble grass just outside the fence. This is one of the many wonderful benefits of staying at Wiesbaden. When you stay overnight you are allowed to use the outdoor hot springs... More

Wiesbaden Lodge in Ouray, Colorado has a way to hook you in. It might be the long Southern Style wraparound porches framed by lush green grass that does it, or it could be the snow capped peaks that hug the lodge from every direction. On a cool morning, there is no better way to start the day than a dip... More

We stayed at the Wiesbaden motel for 3 nights while exploring Ouray and the surrounding mountains. It is a very friendly place to stay, with staff going out of their way to make sure we had all the information we needed about the area. The Sun Room, where we stayed, was a unique, comfortable retreat at night. The bed was... More

This is the best kept secret in Ouray! Not only is it located at the source of the town's hot springs, it has an underground vapor cave as well as a private outdoor pool for romantic or group soaks. Massages and spa treatments are also available. My husband and I have traveled extensively, and this is truly a very special,... More
