This place is very interesting: eclectic settings of most of the rooms and very pleasant greeters and helpers. But the best part is the cave where they have their own hot spring: just change and get in for a sauna-like experience. If this is too cavernous for you, use the outside pool benefiting from the same hot spring. It's two... More

Having read previous reviews, I'm not sure I would have stayed here! However, we were here 2 years ago for my birthday, and I wanted to come back this year for the same occation. I had heard about the wonders of this place since I was a student at Fort Lewis College in the '80. I'm pretty sure nothing has... More

The hotel accommodations are nice, but the vapor caves are what we enjoy at the Wiesbaden. Nothing is more refreshing after being outside in the cold than to warm up in the caves. Ski at Telluride or climb at the ice park and stay at Wiesbaden to enjoy the caves!

Vapor cave was the best amenity of this place. The staff was extremely uninterested in being helpful. No instructions were given, things weren't explained or pointed out. We came for the cave and had no idea there were other amenities accessible to us during our stay. Next time I will do more research and like to say I'd try it... More

One of the most unusual experiences. Inside a Canon find this historical small hotel and cottages over 100 yrs old. Prepare to walk down the stairs to a cave where the hot springs will relax your muscles, your mind, your day. Breath the warm air and then go to outdoors hot pool During your stay make sure you reserve the... More

We met family for the weekend for hiking and soaking. We decided to try some place different this time but still wanted the hot springs experience. The hotel is very clean and staff very helpful. The furnishings are dated but very clean and beds very comfortable. The pool is large enough to stretch out and get a good soak but... More

The Weisbaden has a strict NO PET POLICY, which appealed to my husband and me because of health issues. Imagine our dismay when, shortly after we arrived, a dog showed up on the property and was free to roam the premises for the day, then stayed in the room next to us. We didn't mention anything because we were not... More

This place could be so much more. The rooms are tiny. The TV's are from the 80's. The carpet is dirty and old. The beds are old and rock hard and tilt toward the head of the bed (yes, your feet will be higher than your head). Really hard to sleep here. The Vapor caves are just really smelly Sanas... More

Nice rooms, great staff and beautiful vapor cave, along with a lovely hot springs pool. I plan on coming back with friends. Very comfortable beds too. Coffee available early morning and the pool stays open until 9pm. Very relaxing.

We stayed one night, our room was a little cramped but charming. Bathroom was immaculate. We really enjoyed the vapor cave and the outdoor mineral pool. It was raining lightly and the air was cool so the pool was heavenly. Great location. Walked to pubs and shops. right across the street from the Catholic Church and the town museum. All... More
