We recently stayed at the Beaumont and were impressed by the renovation. The rooms are lovely,although we would have enjoyed a comfortable chair for reading. The staff was very friendly and we appreciated the daily 3o'clock tour of the hotel. The continental breakfast however was pitiful. At these prices, they should do better. We stayed here during our wedding honeymoon. This is an incredibly romantic, historic hotel, with great service and we had a beautiful room. Although it is restored from a historic national treasure, the facilities are in modern working condition (high speed wireless internet, excellent bathroom plumbing, etc).
