Nice place to stay in this area. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Pool was nice and hot tub was a bit warm..but hit the spot. Very quiet hotel other than a few passing trains. Breakfast was waffles, cereal, hard boiled eggs, bread, bagels, canned peaches, bananas, orange juice, milk and coffee. They also had an ice machine... More

My room was great. Decent amount of space. No housekeeping or maintenance problems noted - seemed pretty new and clean. Bed more comfortable for me than average. No noise problems. Bathroom not big but a lot nicer than average. Very nice TV with good channel selection. Good, quiet heater. Good, abundant lights. Good desk and chairs. Had new looking small... More

I live in new castle and have family stay here when they come visit. We went down there during December to take our boys swimming. The pool is about 40 degrees. So cold you can't get in it. The hot tub is a luke warm temperature. It was so cold they had a space heater near the hot tub blowing... More

The service at this hotel was terrible the manger provided terrible customer service with unacceptable attitude continues racisim, also threatened us to leave the hotel. Excessively pricey,Wouldn't recommend it at all, the maintenance was poor nobody went to make the bed, or give us hand soap. The maintenance only showed up ones for the 6 nights during my stay.

New Castle is about five miles west of Glenwood Springs. It is either relatively recently rebuilt, or extensively renovated, Garmin listed it as a Rodeway Inn which it certainly is not. The rooms were large, clean and well equipped. It is right off of I-70 but the elevations resulted in no road noise in my first floor room on the... More

We stayed here one night and had a good experience. 24 hour desk service was friendly, and they are pet friendly as well. Our only real complaint was that the room (201) initially smelled a bit musky/moldy. That seemed to clear up after we opened the window and turned the fan on. Breakfast had a waffle maker, cereal, bagels, juice... More

This was my last stop on my a cation and it was nice to be in a place so clean and neat. The guy at the front desk is really pretty rude. At least say something, a grunt...something, when spoken to. The breakfast is typical continental fare, but still good when hungry.

Great price. Easy on/off access from I-70. Pets allowed for a $10.00/night fee. Nice grassy area to walk dogs. This Econo Lodge is nestled between the I-70 and a gas station/convenience store but don't let that fool you. There is a gorgeous mountain backdrop across I-70 that greets you as you enter and exit this motel! The Colorado River also... More

I liked it. It is reasonably priced and clean. The guy who owns the place was very friendly. His female partner though needs some attitude lessons for example she should hang up the phone when a guest is waiting in front of her. Overall it is a nice small motel

I liked this hotel so much and think it's a hidden gem in the Rockies. The rooms are very nice and linens were clearly new. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were too soft for me. I wish they had harder pillows. When I asked the clerk they brought me extra stiffer pillows. The service was prompt and... More
