We stay here often!! It's always clean, the staff are awesome, and it's in a perfect spot!! We bring the whole family and we relax and enjoy life!! It's close to both Salida and Buenavista as well it's close to ride motorcycles and for our sons mountain bike racing it's just across the street!!

We almost didn't visit this campground because the rates are high, but every campground in this area, with these amenities, is similarly priced. There was no appeal in the upper campground where the RV spots with hookups are, at least for our idea of camping. Dusty gravel sites with very few offering any trees or shades. We took our pop-up... Watch out they will stalk you for infractions! We had a large party of about 30 campers, and they were constantly watching us, waiting for anyone in our group to break the rules. The second we unleashed a dog from a cable to transfer it to a leash to go on a walk, they were always right there in a... More

Stayed here with my camper and even though I reserved too late to get a nicely sized creek spot, I could still hear the creek over the highway that runs by the upper campground. Plenty of trees lended some privacy and even though we were near playground, it was always peaceful somehow. Fire pit on the pad... only electric at... More

We went the weekend of August 9th. There is a lower and upper section. The lower section has the river and playground. That is where we were. The staff seemed pretty nice. The spots are very small and there are people everywhere. So don't expect much privacy. Our spot was forwards the west right against the highway. Avoid the west... More

Bring a loan officer! We renteed a cabin here because all other places were bookded. The price was 170.00 with tax. Pricey but the unit was clean. When we found there were no towels or sheets we thought it was an oversight. Wrong! Want towels or sheets for your 170 buck a nite cabin? 10 bucks! Want two sets of... More

OK, so I booked this because our family of 7 was going to Mt Princeton hot springs for the day. Well, keep on driving folks...so not worth it. They charged us $77 for one night of electric only hook-ups! I thought, well...ok, 5 kids to pay for showers for etc....whatever. Then, after I trekked the huge walk up the hill... More

Great Campground !! It is a little chalky 😂but you feel safe and well located ! We are Jeepers and right in the middle of central Colorodo. Trails!! near the river if you are in a tent ! But RV s can still enjoy the view and river! A great location to ride trails

Okay, here's the good and the bad...... The staff was friendly, the showers were clean and spacious, but you had to pay for the showers! $1.00 for a six minute shower; which is well worth it, except read on..... Our site was $60 per night for space on a gravel and dirt lot that was advertised as "meadow". Very disappointing!... More

Very disappointed with the staff. My friend set up our reservations for a two night stay at the end of our 5 day stay in Taylor Park being very informative about the vehicles and cargo we would be bringing. When checking in we were told we could keep our 4 ATV's and Jeep at our two sites along with the... More
