This is one of the worst and most odd experiences we have ever had at a hotel. We were vacationing in Colorado over Christmas and New year's and the Sundance mountain resort was our last stop before heading back to Ohio. We checked in on December 31st for two nights and when we arrived we were happy to see that... More

We booked a room at the last minute for a volleyball tournament. We called ahead to how long the restaurant would be serving and they offered to keep the kitchen open. The food was delicious. Our room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

All of the staff was cheerful and helpful, but that is where the good ends. The hotel is currently under renovation, but it appears that the owners are doing the work themselves on a budget. Our room had a very strong water damage odor. The balcony door had no way to latch closed (no latch ever installed, just a plank... More

We had to stay in a hotel for a month before we could move into our apartment, we chose this one. It was cheap and looked nice online. We thought we were getting a different room than we were, which was bigger and had a full kitchen. Could have been a misunderstanding on our part, but the maintenance guy (who... More

There are qualities about this hotel that make it charming, such as the grassy courtyard, a small (man-made?) stream trickling through the property, quaint rooms, friendly service. The restaurant’s food is pretty good, and we really appreciated the generous continental breakfast. We spent some very peaceful, quiet moment on the small patio to our room just reading. However, it is... More

We spent two nights at Sundance Mountain Lodge. Overall, the stay was quite satisfactory. Some earlier reviews mentioned some problems with rooms--I am guessing that the new management has been renovating on a progressive program and there may be some variation in the condition of individual rooms. We occupied a ground floor room in the "Douglas Fir" block which is... More

Stayed here for one night. Booked the room over the phone and got an extra 10% discount just for asking. Front desk was very friendly. Room was clean, cool, and even had a mini fridge! Bed was super comfortable and the whole place was pretty quiet. Breakfast in the morning was quiet and had tons of options. Nice treat! Great... More

Loved it, ecclectic with a definite Colorado flair. Best Manhattan I ever had in my life, excellent food, relaxed atmosphere, quiet. Will go there again Casa de snapdragon LLC Publishing (The Brennans)

Wonderful, relaxing stay at the Lodge. Clean, bright room - not fully updated, but still very nice. Property is divine. Staff are friendly and accommodating; breakfast was a nice touch. Dinner was REALLY good, and the singer was awesome too. i read through some of the reviews, complaining about the lodge not being updated, or as advertised, and I really... More

For the price, this is the best hotel you can choose. The rooms are much better than you would expect for the price. The restaurant is incredible. The staff is amazing. If you want a unique experience north of the AF Academy, this is the place to go. We were so impressed with the staff, the restaurant, and the facilities.... More
