The place has character with beautiful rooms that we choose. They were clean, comfortable and had free wifi. The breakfast is a simple oatmeal and coffee. I think it was a feasible 80$ that we paid for four so well worth it

Very friendly reception by Jennifer. We were drive up customers so we had a look at the room first and didn't hesitate for a second. Very large (in fact there were two rooms). Liked the Western decor, especially the shower curtain. :-) Wifi good. Fridge, microwave. A bit of a strange arrangement with using the hot tub. We didn't have... More

First of all it DID NOT smell like curry inside ... Our family stayed for for the weekly special in 2 rooms this hotel while visiting the area. Due to the length of our stay, we found the accommodations fit the purpose very well! The rooms had knotty pine walls - the adjoining rooms were convenient - the kitchenette was... More

Stayed one night at the end of a long drive and a quick stop off to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Clean, fun decoration. Good recommendation for where to have dinner (nearby Steakhouse within walking distance). Help yourself breakfast offered with coffee, fruit and donuts etc. Good value for the location.

My husband and I stayed for two weeks in this hotel while visiting the area. Due to the length of our stay, we found the accommodations fit the purpose very well! We stayed in room 15 which had a living room and kitchenette combination with a separate bedroom. The room had knotty pine walls and was decorated in a Colorado... More

Wow - what a find! Very unassuming but nice-looking motel from the roadside - our innkeeper Jen totally sold us on staying there - such a fun person! And when we opened the door to our room (#17 I think) we were very pleased - not only 2 queen beds, but a cozy corner with 2 club chairs. Then we... More

We were not sure abouf this motel at first because it did look dated and it is BUT it is that rustic dating and old time charm that we immediately liked. It has been added onto over the years and sits in a U-shape, with a pool and hot rub in the middle in a nice private setting. The garden... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the rustic feel this place has. Really big room with wood through out. Service was awesome and pleasant staff. It was very affordable too. We will definitely be coming back. Each room has a shared back deck overlooking their pool.

My husband and I were attracted to this hotel as we drove by because it looks adorable, well kept, and has a beautiful lawn and flowers all over. We are so glad we took a chance and stopped. The owner is fun and kind and insisted that we look at the room before we committed. The room was cozy (not... More

Better than most chain motels, this lodge has spacious rooms, a good pool, and friendly service. On the main road towards Black Canyon Natl. Park but no noise. Comfortable beds and simple decor. Breakfast comes with the room but it's just juice, coffee, and donuts.
