This place was built in the 50s, so don't expect the sterile, huge rooms of the Hilton. However, the gardens and pool area are spectacular, the rooms are comfy enough, and the whole place is thoroughly enjoyable. A great bargain, we thought.

Nice, Very Clean Hotel, Pool, Hot-tub, great morning coffee! Stayed in the Alpine Room - comfortable beds, very Clean. Jennifer and Jeff - great owners. Extra friendly, good people, and helpful with information. Lots of character in the facilities and sure beats the hotel chains! My husband and i travel quite a bit and whenever we are close to Montrose this is the place we stay. Everyone is always always friendly, the rooms are cool as hell. The grounds are kept up with beautiful flowers and the pool is always crystal clear

A complete change from the standard chains. This is a 1950's motor lodge with the original cast iron tub and a scale that folds out of a compartment in the bathroom wall. They rooms are spacious and have been decorated in various themes. We stayed in the "Lodge Room" which is a two room suite with wood paneling and 3... More

This is an older motel but a nice change from chain motels that all seem so much alike. We stayed in the John Wayne room #10. It has lots of John Wayne pictures, and dvd’s are included for several of his movies. Our room had a beautiful king bed, rocking chair, table and chair, fridge, microwave, and good wifi. Room... If your looking for a clean room with great service look no futher!! The hot tub along with the swimming pool made the evenings relaxing after a long day on the rock crawling trails. The staff did everything to make our stay enjoyable. They had parking for our tow rigs in the back. We had to make a repair and... More

We stayed one evening. We found the staff very accommodating, the room clean, and beds comfortable. This is an "old time motel". One feels like they have stepped back in time. Everyone is welcoming, including the dogs who are very happy to give you a friendly kiss and a good hardy tail wag gin'.

When we had to change from another motel with toxic cleaning smells we were lucky to find this pleasant place to stay. Although, a little dated the room was remarkably quiet, roomy and comfortable at a very reasonable price. The manger was helpful in showing us a couple of room choices before we booked. Everything worked and the beds were... More

The place has character with beautiful rooms that we choose. They were clean, comfortable and had free wifi. The breakfast is a simple oatmeal and coffee. I think it was a feasible 80$ that we paid for four so well worth it

Very friendly reception by Jennifer. We were drive up customers so we had a look at the room first and didn't hesitate for a second. Very large (in fact there were two rooms). Liked the Western decor, especially the shower curtain. :-) Wifi good. Fridge, microwave. A bit of a strange arrangement with using the hot tub. We didn't have... More
