Five of us traveling on motorcycles stayed the night. They treated us like kings. A heavenly place in the middle of nowhere! Excellent accommodations and the people were very friendly. Would go there anytime.

Willow Spring B & B is in a Victorian building set down in the vast spaces of the San Luis Valley. The common spaces & rooms are decorated with antiques, beautiful quilts & exquisite art. Rooms have a sink but bathrooms are shared. The manager is very welcoming and she serves a delicious breakfast. This is a unique and restful... More

We drove down from Denver to see the Sand Dunes and stayed at the Willow Spring Bed and Breakfast. It was great and the proprietors were very warm and inviting. It is one of a very few nice buildings in the whole town. The town has seen its heyday come and go long ago. But the rooms were fine, the... More

Some extended family and I stayed at the Willow Spring a few weeks ago. Pluses: Lovely historic building; relaxing and nicely decorated rooms; sink in each room; 3 sitting rooms plus great porch; friendly proprietors; very dark outside at night for great star watching; nice distance to Great Sand Dunes; yummy breakfast. Minuses: Toilets and showers (only 2 for whole... More

Those traveling in the vast, unspoiled landscape that follows beside the Sangre de Cristo mountains will be rewarded to find Willow Spring, a lovely historic B&B that has achieved just the right balance of restoration and easy comfort. The owners, Jim and Harriet Campbell, are wonderfully welcoming and accommodating – then slipping easily into the background and allowing guests to... More
