We have been many times to Valley View. We have tent camped, RV camped, stayed in one of the rustic cabins and stayed in the Sunset Rooms. The Sunset Rooms are our favorite. Motel like rooms, sharing a half bath and kitchen. This is an Naturist reserve, so expect nudity. Most people will wear some form of covering to the... More

Most people do not wear clothes. For the up-tight, you get over it very quickly...it is natural. The springs kinda have a fish-tank smell, but nothing revolting. Several pools/springs to pick from, and they limit overall guests count so that you don't feel crowded throughout the property. Cabins/rooms do not have AC, nor do cabin doors lock (put stuff in... Shabby sheik is probably the best description of the operation. Cabins were well outfitted and comfortable in a lived in sort of way. Some of the bedding was a bit musty, might want to bring your own pillow. It certainly all about the hot springs though which appear to have a low mineral content and two of the springs are... More

I enjoyed a brief visit to soak at Valley View Hot Springs and returned again the next week to spend a night. I love this sustainable, civilized and well-appointed "eco-resort": my "Sunset" room was very comfortable, including a big shared, well-equipped kitchen; all the hot spring mineral pools I used were wonderful, surrounded by woods, with snow-capped mountains in the... I stopped here on my way thru the area. And I am glad I did. They have multiple hot springs, and small pools that you can soak in for hours. They also have camping sites, and lots of hiking - and some AMAZING views. Unfortunately my day visit was limited due to chilly weather, but we will certainly return. I... More

It has been three years since I last visited this unique spot and there have been some changes as might be expected but most are for the overall betterment of the place. I have noted some extremely negative reviews about OLT on this and other sites and have to wonder as to whether or not these are individuals for whom... More

My wife and I are in our fifties and recently went there for the day. We were given a goft membership by pur daughter and really enjoyed the pools. We do intend to return and camp overnight. There was definite nudity-and only one guy seemed to have a little 'creep' aspect, but never did anything overt--just seemed to hand around... More

Went to Valley View Hot Springs for a nice weekend, it was late fall but it was still nice outside, Cottonwood is a nice small 3 room cabin near oak house across the parking lot from the shower/restrooms. the pool was still nice and warm for that time on the year, and upper pools were also very nice, I still... We stayed here two nights at the beginning of October, so the nights and morning were cold - our wet towel froze overnight. We camped and were given the option of free camping (as of October 1). The campsites were not very nice and were wet. So we moved to RV site C for $10 and pitched our tent. Unfortunately... More

Way off the beaten path is a gem to be experienced. The story of the hot springs and the transition to the Land Trust is very interesting. If not for the Trust, this would be just another expensive resort for the well heeled. The area is carefully maintained in its natural state with a minimum of amenities. Tent sites, cabins... More
