We arrived about 8:30 PM on a Saturday evening. There was nowhere to park to unload our belongings. We pulled the car off the road and unloaded, careful to not fall in the ditch. There was inadequate lighting to get to our unit on the first floor (10A) so we used our flashlight app on our cellphones to light our... More

My husband and I spent a week, the end of September, at Goldenwoods as a last minute get-away. We got a one bedroom on the first floor, Unit 4A. There is no place to park close to get all your stuff into the condos. So lots of trips back and forth to get all our food and clothes in. I... More

As part of my RCI membership picked powderhorn as the spot for this august. We arrived on august 22. The place was virtually empty. It sits on the north slope of grand mesa and is surrounded by forest and is of of course a ski resort . It seems under some distress. Be prepared for steps. Unloading a week of... More

Our family stayed at Goldenwoods the first week of April. We have 6 kids ages 4-14 and this place was perfect for us. It is located right next to Powderhorn Ski resort so if you are planning to ski, the quick jaunt up a few steps to the lift is perfect. We aren't skiiers and so we used the condo... More

This was a nice place to spend the week while skiing Powderhorn. If you are not a skilled skier, Powderhorn isn't the place for you. Most of their runs are pretty challenging. It was a short walk to the main ski lift from our front door. The folks at the check-in desk were polite and courteous. The 1 bedroom with... More

Had a great trip. Goldenwoods was an excellent home base while exploring the Grand Mesa and Colorado National Monument park. Very quiet so we could leave the windows open. The Condo was huge. We had the 1 bedroom plus loft with 2 bathrooms. Would have fit many more than the 4 in our party. The staff was great. The only... More

There are only a few places to choose from when looking for a getaway to Powderhorn Ski resort.Goldenwoods was perfectly located for our family of 4 plus 2 friends for the kids. The 2 bedroom condo was walking distance to the lodge and lifts. Yes, the condo was very dated, but clean and was nice to not have to worry... More

We stayed here for a long weekend. We had a 2BR on the first floor. We arrived late so we could not find a parking spot and had to walk quite a distance. My husband is disabled and I had to leave him at the stairs and go park. The steps to our unit 105B were narrow and we had... More

My family and I stayed here for a week. The condo was a good size - 3 bedrooms including one loft bedroom. The decor was waaaay outdated - rust orange carpet, bathroom counters and tiles. Pretty much everything in this place was old. The fridge, the furniture....the couches were awful. They were totally sunken in and not comfortable. The beds... More

We stayed in a one bedroom unit. It was very outdated and worn. The bedroom had a queen bed that was okay. There was a flat screen tv but very limited channel selection. There was a bathroom sink in the bedroom, one in the hallway outside the bathroom and one in the bathroom. Odd. The shower was in the middle... More
