The cabins are very rustic but very comfortable bed. We stayed in the Magee cabin. The view of the mountains was spectacular. The food was a little pricey but very good. Darryl prepares s a great meal. The lodge was very nicely decorated. This is a nice place to get away for a few days.

This place is awesome with the perfect balance between the comforts and cleaness we all appreciate while supporting the primal love of mother nature embedded within ourselves most of us seldom take time to discover. The staff seem extremely talented in discovering what brought you here and respectfully placing you on the proper path... enjoy;-)

Our organization came to the Diamond J for a staff retreat and didn't want to leave. The setting and service were great and among the positive comments coworkers provided after the very productive meetings was a unanimous vote for the location - comfortable, close and a new ground for all, enabling us to grow closer as a team.

Stayed in Cabins and Lodge either way it's a great place to stay and see the mountains. If you get tired of fishing or hiking you can always go to Aspen for the day.

I've been a guest at the ranch back to the mid 70s and seen several owners, sold the ranch as a listing broker and never felt so connected to a place in my life. You feel as if you just came home when you walk in into the front door of the Lodge. Remodeled Lodge rooms are great and love... More

This beautiful, quiet guest ranch nestled far up the Fryingpan River Valley offers access to cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and --- just relaxing. Wildlife abounds -- and there's more snow here than in Aspen or Snowmass, which are only an hour away! Wonderful hosts Ken and Karen provide great meals and as much, or little, company as you want.... More
