We stayed there for two nights. There were no self parking so but ballet was reasonable and quick. Room is pretty small but give you feeling of grandma's house with classic wall papers. Location is good for COG railroad but Manitou Springs don't have many attractions so didn't give us great benefit staying there. Overall clean and super kind/friendly staffs.

We stayed in the hotel and ate dinner and breakfast in the dining room. Our room was comfortable but could have been cleaner; there was a large dried spill on the carpet and the windows were dirty so that the wonderful view of the surrounding mountains was obscured. The meals in the dining room were not good. The sesame and... More

So Glad we chose to stay here - we were spoiled in our spacious room with huge windows overlooking the entrance driveway, and turn-down service at night. This place has a great location with an easy walk to shops and bars in this charming town. Dinner and service in the restaurant was wonderful - great wine list. The lamb chops... More

I loved this place! Beautiful building, attentive staff, really nice room. We will definitely come back. They really made you feel special - not like most hotels these days. The linens were high quality and the bathroom was really beautiful!! Loved the stone porch with comfy furniture.

I can't say enough about this Colorado "castle". She is truly a treasure. As another reviewer said, from the time we pulled into the lovely circular driveway we immediately decompressed from the hustle and bustle of what we left behind in Denver. We stayed in a Junior Suite on the 4th floor - very cozy for a couple. I was... More

This hotel is a grand old lady. It is comfortable, quiet, and has a great location. We ate 3 meals here, and the food was good. Historical display cases and art by a local painter add to the charm. Probably what impressed us the most was the staff. From the valets, to the front desk to the bartender and restaurant... More

WOW. The Cliff House is a luxurious, stately, beautiful facility. We were able to put a rather stressful drive behind us the moment we walked up the steps to the veranda. The room was warm and restful. We had a two person jetted tub w/shower. My first experience with a "warmlet" and I hope it will not be my last!... More

I will start by saying everyone is very nice and the hotel is lovely in it historic setting. However, my experience may be unique. I have an allergy to certain molds and upon entering our room, I had an immediate reaction which caused breathing problems for hours even after taking my medication. Needless to say, I was now uncomfortable because... More

Thank you for taking time out of your day to comment on our property. We appreciate your kind words regarding your lunch and will pass them along to our staff. With regards to the "mold" that you described, we went to your room immediately after check-out and looked for ourselves and saw soap residue, but no mold. We appreciate the... More

We stayed 4 nights in mid August. The room was very clean, comfortable, quiet, and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was exceptional each morning. The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We are looking forward to staying there again on our next visit to the area.

Elegant & beautifully maintained historic hotel. 5 stars to the chef for truly fine dining + the included breakfast buffet had suprising additions. The lovely studio/room overlooked the gardens & veranda.
