We stayed here before visiting Mesa Verde and it was a good deal. We got the family room with a kitchen, a queen bed, and bunk beds (bottom is full size bed; top is twin) and it worked out great for us and our 4 kids. (One kid in top bunk, 2 boys on large bottom bunk, and baby with... More

On our road trip we try to patronize local businesses and enjoy retro motels. But this one had too man drawbacks to recommend. First, the bed was very uncomfortable for 2 people: my husband slept in the trough while I clung to the edge, trying not to fall into him. Like an "I Love Lucy" episode. Second, the road noise... This is exactly the motel you stayed in when you were 12 years old on a family vacation in the station wagon. Dad decided to save a little money on motels so you could have an extra day at Disneyland, and every evening on the road you pulled in to this smallish, clean, cozy little place in a teeny town... We stayed in the room with a queen size bed, bunk bed and kitchenette. Do not expect luxury, but it was very clean, attendant was very pleasant, and reasonably priced. The room wasn't very big, but it was enough considering we only spent the evenings in the room. The kitchenette consisted a sink, small gas stove, small fridge and microwave.... More

Well don't expect luxury here, but trust me : it is a lovely place. Rooms are quite small compared to american standards, but it even better : it gives ever more that cosy feeling. It is a charming place. The kind of guests room you would like to have at home for when your friends stay over.

My wife and I stayed here in October, 2013 and found the motel to be a real bargain. It was clean, quiet, easily accessible, and unusually economical ($39.00) for a night's rest. The clerk was friendly and very helpful; the room was very clean, very quiet, and had everything we needed for a restful break from the highway. I would... More

The motelroom was not very big, but really cosy. The only bad part was the smell in the bathroom. It was really nice to dit outside on the deck or by the firepit at night. There is no breakfast but there is a fridge and microwave in the room. Even better is to go tot the absolut bakery.

This charming motel is conveniently located about 10 miles from the entrance of Mesa Verde National Park. Our room was clean and and well maintained. The grounds included an outside sitting area with barbecue pits. I enjoyed reading outside and watching the hummingbirds take turns at the bird feeder. I highly recommend this motel.

Great location for Mesa Verde National Park...easy check in process. Don't expect an overwhelming number of amenities - this is a nice simple motel. Ask about the room with the bunk bed for extra space. Mancos is a neat city and I prefer staying here as opposed to Cortez.

Just minutes from Mesa Verde, it was the perfect home-base for our family of five as we explored the National Park. The kids loved the bunk beds! My boys shared the double bed on the bottom bunk and my 5'8" teenager was comfortable on the twin-sized top bunk. While the room was not spacious, we had more in-room amenities here... More
