This was a dream! The location and the buidling itself were perfect for our needs and the hosts cannot be faulted or bettered I doubt. Interesting and interested people who really put body and soul into making us feel welcome. Even the pets were friendly! More

Sundance bear was a great place to unwind far from the sounds of the city. I loved the stunning location overlooking Mesa Verde and the La Plata Mountains. The property was large and I enjoyed walking around and exploring. Sue and Bob were friendly, had good local tips and obviously loved sharing their homes. More

You never quite know what to expect, but this B&B delighted the 3 of us...fabulous location, terrific host and hostess, so relaxed and comfortable, and what special breakfasts! The cats and dogs made us feel right at home; that Morris especially. We'd all love to have an excuse to visit again and maybe we just will. Sandy, Ann, and Shelley More

Bob & Sue are great! their hospitality was wonderful, we felt the hosts for a few days and their instructions were invaluable!. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. The room is small but cozy. The lodge has many amenities and is located in a small corner of paradise: the quiet is assured! Mancos is close to you and there you can find... More

We stayed with Sue and Scott for 2 nights in de cabin. The first day we arrived at 3pm, went into the (beautifull) cabin, got rid of our luggage, took a chair on the porch, took our laptop and stayed there untill sunset, did not even eat.........it gave us such a peacefull and serene feeling. The view, the quietness........it made... More

Extremely clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely property and decor. Would like to go back just to stay at this propery again. They have a different approach to B&B. Instead of just a room, the whole house is yours to enjoy as well as the large property. They make you feel welcome and not have to tip toe around. The breakfast... More

This was our first experience of an American B&B and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel most welcome at The Sundance Bear Lodge. We were delighted with our room, “The Mesa Verde”, which was comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated in Native Indian style. There was plenty of room for the three of us, with everything you... We booked a room via Expedia. We did not know what to expect as this is the first time we used B and B in the USA. It was excellent. Really comfortable and the owners, Bob and Sue were very hospitable. We did a 'Road Trip' and this was such a peaceful place to rest each of the evenings we... More

My wife and I went with another couple (they made the reservations) and stayed in two rooms in the main house for two nights while visiting Mesa Verde National Park. Sundance Bear Lodge is wonderful, bright, comfortable, welcoming, clean and just about anything one could want in a B & B. We had the run of a family room/dining room/kitchen... More

We have stayed at several b&B's and the Sundance Bear Lodge is lodging with a home-like atmosphere. We stayed in the Mancos room; it was small, but nicely decorated, with a private bathroom. Bob and Sue are gracious hosts, welcoming us warmly upon our arrival. The Wifi worked well, even outside on the porch. The large greatroom is comfortable to... More
