We were thankful to find this hotel in downtown Lyons after having some car problems. Sue, the owner, was so kind to us. She made sure that we had a quiet unit to stay in. The room was basically like a little apartment- it featured 2 queen beds, a full kitchen (with appliances), table and chairs, bathroom, and TV. All... More

Sue, the lady who runs the motel and I assume owns it, couldn't have been nicer or more concerned about whether everything was to our satisfaction. Unfortunately when you run a place that hasn't really had any upgrades for over 50 years, it leaves a bit to be desired. Our unit was very clean BUT it smelled really bad -... More

Ww had diminished expectations when we booked the Aspen Leaf for our stay in Lyons, but we were in for a big surprise. Our room had two beds and was a really big room. The place is like stepping back in time. Things there were from a while ago, but it was all freshly-painted, not worn-out looking, and it was clean,... More

This place is so cute. Clean, retro, just everything you need. Comfortable bed too. Sue is a dear. I love the gardens in the front. Close to everything. Also, pretty quiet considering it's on the main drag.

We hadn't even planned to stay in Lyons but we do like being spontaneous. We called Sue while eating lunch at Oscar Blues & she had a room avail. We were skeptical ... but pleasantly surprised.. the rooms were very retro but cool at the same time. Very clean, good bed. We asked Sue where the closest drugstore was as... More

Our group stays here every year for the Rocky Grass Festival and have always been extremely satisfied. We consider Sue as our friend and hope she is OK after all the peril that has struck Lyons recently and include her in our prayers. I haven't been able to contact her so I'm trying this avenue to express if there is... More

My son & I were on a motorcycle trip and liked this place enough to spend a extra night. It is a older motor inn but rooms are very clean & well kept with kitchenette. Approx 30 min from Estes Park & Rocky Mtn park. Very reasonable rates & Sue (owner) is a great lady to deal with. Helping us... More

Only 5 units all decked out in period 50's furnishing. Large room with complete kitchen. The location is great.. and yes, being across the street from Oskar Blues is a definite plus. Lyons is a great little town and this is the perfect place to stay. The owner, Sue, was out hanging her clothes on the clothesline when I arrived,... More

When you pull into a motel driveway and see the owner hanging clothes to dry on a clothesline, you know this ain't no Comfort Inn! And I mean that in a good way. Is this property on the National Register for Historic Places? because it is straight out of the 50's. No long dark hallways here, just back your vehicle... More

One of only a few places to stay in Lyons whether you are there for a music at Planet Bluegrass or Oskar Blues, or just passing through. It is clean and quiet and quite simple. The owner, Sue, is a pleasant women with a kind heart who really cares for her old fashioned motor court. Reasonably priced with small kitchenettes... More
