We spent 2 night during off season but staff treated us like royalty. We rented a 2 bedroom cabin with a balcony overlooking the river. The accomodations were "rustic" but just what we were looking for at a dude ranch. The cabin was clean and homey- even had a fireplace! The staff was wonderful and especially accomodating to our children--... More

We just spent a week at Peaceful Valley Ranch near Lyons, Colorado. The first few days were spent with new and old friends at a wedding, and then it was just us taking long mountain trail hikes and rides on horseback – two activities we have rarely attempted. Some meals were at the Ranch and others in nearby Estes Park... More

Our family reunion of 10 people (ages 70 up to 5) all had a wonderful time at Peaceful Valley. I can't say enough about how good their counselors and wranglers are. Accomodations and food are rustic, but perfectly fine and the hottubs in cabins are a big bonus. None of us were riders, but all of us loved the time... More

We just got back from a week at Peaceful Valley Dude Ranch and absolutely loved it! They kept the kids (7 & 14) busy all day long with feeding the baby goats, ping pong, crafts, fishing, swimming and of course horseback riding! I loved that we as parents could come along with those activities or we could go on a... More

The staff and owner treated our family horrible. It's over priced and ran down. They will try to nickel and dime you as well. I will never go back and would not recommend this place at all!

We looked for a dude ranch in Colorado for many weeks and the majority were booked through the summer. So we were skeptical to go there when we found out there was availability. However we do not regret our decision. The accomodations are not luxurious but they suit your needs. A little updating and deep cleaning is needed. There are... More

I am on my way back to Colorado this summer, trying to find a dude ranch half as fun as Peaceful Valley, where we stayed last summer. It was a truly memorable vacation. Great kids program, great horses and wranglers. The horse rides were the most beautiful and spectacular I have ever seen. Breakfast on the gorgeous mountaintop! The guided... More

Very disappointed with our first experience of a dude ranch. The room we had in the main building was small and cramped and the wooden floors creaked with every step (both our own and those of other guests). The ensuite was tiny and dark but worst of all, the room didn't look as though it had been cleaned, albeit the... More
