Felt like we had stepped back in time. Loved our room. Very quaint. Perfect location in town. Everything within walking distance. Ready to move to this town. Would definitely stay here again. Restaurant also very good!!!

Stayed here on a recent trip to Leadville. Hotel is very old and charming. However the hotel smells very old. The staff were very friendly and helpful and provided several good options for things to see in town. The beds however were the hardest beds I have ever tried to sleep on, try being the operative word as neither of... More

This was our first visit to this HISTORIC hotel and we loved it - and that included the sloping and creaky floors and the "Doc Holiday" king bedroom on the third floor, which meant climbing up three flights of very steep stairs with suitcases - at 10,000 ft; and for us, who live at near sea level in Texas, a... We stayed here one night in a very comfortable and large king suite. Just as expected it was full of antiques with creaky stairs and quirky details. It was actually better than expected as they somehow manage to keep all the knicknacks dusted. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you like history and local color. But not for people... More

My family and I stayed at the hotel Delaware this past weekend in route to Aspen to view the fall color changes. Let me first say that over the past 4 decades my family and I have stayed at this hotel on ski trips to ski cooper many times. The hotel is very charming, what it lacks in creature comforts,... More

We ate here after the train ride. Very interesting and old historic place. Worth seeing. The food is just ok but the overall experience is interesting. Good people watching from the lobby and its right in the center of town.

Nice historic hotel, I stayed here the week of the Leadville Trail 100 MTB race. The hotel is just steps from the start line at the Leadville Trail 100. Unfortunately, no place to store a bicycle inside, so it had to stay in the vehicle. The staff is very nice, very laid back but take care of guests' needs. The... More

A very unique hotel and historic with very good service. The Callaway Restaurant was open and also very friendly staff and good food. The rooms are small but clean and the stairs steep. Lots to look at and you definitely feel like you have gone back in the past. But, that is what i wanted. The prices are marked up... More

Decided to stay here for the one night we're in Leadville. It was centrally located and a historic building. We got room 214, thankfully only one flight up since there are no elevators. The entire place is a bit creaky and freaky, I would be slightly afraid to stay here. It kind of reminds me of some crazy Grandma's house... More

My wife and I love finding the historic hotels to stay in when we can. This was a gem. It was perfect for us. Don't get me wrong. It's Historic. It's not a five star resort, however it perfect for the genre. Rooms were clean and perfectly decorated. We will definitely be back. A big thank you to the staff... More
