Certainly enjoyed our anniversary stay; service was great, and this small town hotel has all one can hope for, if one can overlook all the 'Please don't this' and 'Please don't that', and the dozen 'This is not a public restroom, or please pay a $1 at the front desk' signs, then you're golden. 😊

Booked this stay this past weekend for our 10 year wedding anniversary and was pleased with the ambiance when we first walked in to the lobby. A bit cluttered with stuff for sale, but still had a nice feel overall. Checked in to our room and like how much space we had and some of the antique furniture. The mix... More

Love this Hotel! The staff is incredibly nice, the rooms are clean and the hotel is full of neat antique furniture and lots of history! If only the walls could talk! Each room has everything needed for a room. It's impressive how a shower, toilet and sink were implemented into each room without taking away the historic feeling that was... More

Thank you so much for your gracious comments. At 130 years old, the Delaware Hotel is the Grand Dame of Leadville's hotels. As an historic hotel, we are definitely not your standard roadside inn. It warms our heart that you have enjoyed our slice of Victorian Leadville, blended with today's wants and needs. We hope you will visit Leadville again. More

We absolutely love staying at the Delaware and have done so for the past 25 years. You just step out the door and into the historic district of Leadville, CO. The hotel restaurant serves world class cuisine-and I hope they offer more vegetarian or even Vegan options in the future. The rooms are clean and charming with exceptional views of... More

I stayed at the Delaware Hotel this past June and it lived up to my expectations. Staying at the Delaware Hotel made me feel like going back in time. The rooms are old fashioned and nice. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the vast history of the hotel and Leadville in general. The location of the hotel cannot be... More

Stayed here on a recent trip to Leadville. Hotel is very old and charming. However the hotel smells very old. The staff were very friendly and helpful and provided several good options for things to see in town. The beds however were the hardest beds I have ever tried to sleep on, try being the operative word as neither of... More

This was our first visit to this HISTORIC hotel and we loved it - and that included the sloping and creaky floors and the "Doc Holiday" king bedroom on the third floor, which meant climbing up three flights of very steep stairs with suitcases - at 10,000 ft; and for us, who live at near sea level in Texas, a... We stayed here one night in a very comfortable and large king suite. Just as expected it was full of antiques with creaky stairs and quirky details. It was actually better than expected as they somehow manage to keep all the knicknacks dusted. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you like history and local color. But not for people...
