Step back in time when you walk thru the doors of this lovely old hotel. We booked a suite ( the Baby Doe ) and loved it. It is actually 2 large connecting rooms. We looked at other rooms and thought all were charming and each unique. Our windows opened and we had a frig. Not all rooms have this,... More

Definitely a step back in time. A lot history here. But small room, very tight bathroom & toilet space with the door against you, hard bed, & my iPhone is bigger than the TV. But it's a historic place and glad I checked it out. Luckily their was a fan in the room, no a/c and the room was warm.... More

We stayed in the Deluxe King room for 2 nights. This is a very old and historic hotel that is crammed full of antiques. Interesting place. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. We stayed on the second floor. Be aware that there are no elevators in this hotel and the stairs are long and steep. At 10,000 feet, we... More

This is the only hotel in downtown Leadville. Upon entering, there is a small contemporary gift shop to one side, but the remainder of the first floor and mezzanine is filled with high end gifts, jewelry and artifacts, many of them antiques and all for sale. There is a small restaurant off the lobby with limited service. Breakfast is offered... More

Great stay, loved the rooms in era. We stayed nice and toasty no problems with heat, even though it snowed that night. Loved that they had nic nacks to sale. It was still early for their busy season so we expected some things not to be ready for customers. They made it a great family stay, would certainly do it... More

Certainly enjoyed our anniversary stay; service was great, and this small town hotel has all one can hope for, if one can overlook all the 'Please don't this' and 'Please don't that', and the dozen 'This is not a public restroom, or please pay a $1 at the front desk' signs, then you're golden. 😊

Booked this stay this past weekend for our 10 year wedding anniversary and was pleased with the ambiance when we first walked in to the lobby. A bit cluttered with stuff for sale, but still had a nice feel overall. Checked in to our room and like how much space we had and some of the antique furniture. The mix... More

Love this Hotel! The staff is incredibly nice, the rooms are clean and the hotel is full of neat antique furniture and lots of history! If only the walls could talk! Each room has everything needed for a room. It's impressive how a shower, toilet and sink were implemented into each room without taking away the historic feeling that was... More

Thank you so much for your gracious comments. At 130 years old, the Delaware Hotel is the Grand Dame of Leadville's hotels. As an historic hotel, we are definitely not your standard roadside inn. It warms our heart that you have enjoyed our slice of Victorian Leadville, blended with today's wants and needs. We hope you will visit Leadville again. More
