Rooms are decorated in a Columbine theme. Carved headboards, lace curtains and table runners, fake greenery in the room all make it seem very "danish". Bietta and Joch are from Poland and are both very nice and helpful. The walls are very thin. I did see a couple people mention the small thin towels which I also too noticed. And... more

We stayed only one night here however the room was nice, exceptionally clean & beds very comfortable. Towels are thin however clean & tidy. I advised the front desk that our fridge wasn't working and he stated that they were new & maids had them turned off to conserve energy, however after all night, it still did not turn on.... more

We stayed here for a couple of nights in late July and found it to be a very nice place! The price was great ($80/night) and our room was small but attractive and comfortable. The bed was comfy and the room had a large refrigerator. The decor was simple but attractive and up-to-date. I loved the lace curtains, and we... more

This is a decent enough motel but the bathroom is tiny and the towels are tiny & thin. Kind of like an upgraded Motel 6. Bed was comfortable, pillows about 1/2 normal size, why?? Breakfast was good but nothing to get excited about even though it was included free. After 10pm you have to go in and out the back... more

The managment/ owner turned somewhat hostile, even accusing us of damaging the pull-out (which had a giant rip in the mattress support, because we didn't report it until we returned to the motel the following night. At check-out I asked the owner to inspect the damge which would show it was nothing we did. He said that he couldn't leave... more

We have stayed at the Columbine Inn twice, and will do so again when we travel that area. A very sweet, gentle "lodge-ish" kind of place that is extraordinarily clean and has a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. more

We always return to the Columbine Inn on our frequent visits to Leadville. We've stayed in most of the other hotel/motels, a few B&Bs, and the Delaware Hotel. We like the convenience and comfort of the Columbine. It is family owned and the family and staff have always been friendly and accommodating. The room is spacious, and the view of... more

Spent two nights in this good, basic hotel. Nothing fancy - just your standard two story structure at the edge of town. The room was average in size, clean, and quiet though the bathroom was very small. From our window facing the back of the hotel we had a nice view of a meadow and mountains. The front desk folks... more

I tried to make a reservation and filled out the form the Columbine Inn & Suites provides on its website. I received an e-mail telling me to call their toll-free 1-800-number. Instead of typing this e-mail they could have written "room available" or not and how much it would be instead of asking me to call a number I cannot... more

The inn was newly renovated and well maintained. We were disappointed for two reasons: 1) we were charged more than we were quoted on the phone. 2) We went to use the hot tub and found it was completely drained. The room itself was clean and nice. We left too early to try their breakfast. Their was no in room... more
