The room suprised us with how large and well-appointed it was. It felt more like a lodge than a budget hotel room. We'd booked a single queen room as that had been the only possibility the booking engine came up with. We were very happy to be upgraded to a king at check in. Our room was large, well laid out and equipped. The bed and pillows were good. The rooms have no a/c, which theoretically you don't need in Leadville's temperatures.... more

Quite modern, and well located for the area attractions. Leadville in summer is a nice little town, with some interesting history and some pleasant family style bars and shops.
