Picture perfect. It's nestled among the grand pines. Cabins have all the amenities. Wonderful office manager! Great place to vacation. But take precautions for altitude sickness! At 10k feet we gasp for air with any physical activity. But its well worth it.

This was our second time staying here. It seems a bit high priced to me but the place is nice, clean and the managers friendly and accommodating. We made a bit of a last minute trip up skiing at ski Cooper and had stayed with them before so we knew it was ok. It's out of town toward the ski... More

Enjoyed it enough last Christmas came back for a second visit, brought the extended family, works great for all 11 of us, two cabins, the larger cabin for 10 only had 8 plates, the heating system was a little noisy at night, we will be back again

My husband and I really loved staying in room 1A at the Grand West Village Resort! There was a separate bedroom (really lovely bedspread with a moose and "mountainy" things on it), a very large bathroom (we really liked the option of turning on the low-light, bathroom ceiling night-light, although we had to hold the door shut part-way with a... We wanted to stay in a cabin. We like to make our own meals and have that "camping" feeling of relaxation. This was THE most expensive place we have ever stayed. Although lovely, I was so put off by all the rules that were put upon us. The threats of all the added charges if we did this or if... More

Wonderfully located cabins (in blocks of 2 to 4), in woodland, on a quiet road, with views across to Mount Elbert and Mount Massive. We stayed in a one bedroom cabin, which was spacious and thoughtfully furnished and equipped. The kitchen area is quite small, but well arranged and in fact we ate in all of the three nights we... We rented Trapper's Treasure 5B. Incredible place. Full kitchen, gas fireplace, laundry, living room with vaulted ceilings, lots of windows to view forest/wildlife. 2 bedrooms, one downstairs, one in loft. 2 bathrooms, one upstairs, one down. We loved it so much we stayed an extra day. We stayed here in June 2012.

I grew up in Leadville and love to come back. It is a nice place to stay and the people are friendly. We had extra kids (willing to sleep on the floor) and they were very accommodating with extra blankets, etc. and did not take the opportunity to charge us when they could have. I will definitely give them my business... More

We have had great ski vacations with our grandsons for several years. The proximity to Ski Cooper and Copper Mtn is a plus as well as the reasonable rates and the responsiveness of the management. Recommend it for anyone wanting a serene place to get away in the mountains.

We rented out several of the condos for a large group of families from all over two years in a row. It was a great time. Management even let us have live music some one of the evenings. They were very accomodating.
