The room was so gross. Bathroom smelled of urine, bathtub hadn't been cleaned, carpet was stained, the chairs apolstry was stained, torn and stapled back together on the back. The curtains had holes in them. And the towels! Disgusting. Stained with I don't want to know what, grey...I didn't even take a shower. I have a dog. They have a... More

Carpet in the room was filthy, cloth on the chairs were stained, the sheets smelled clean but had some discolored spots, and the walls next to the bed were also visibly dirty. Not to mention the room was overpriced at around the hundred dollar range. Unfortunately this was the only place that had vacancy, but thankfully we were only staying... More

I never saw the rooms, never stayed there. While eating at burger joint next door I witnessed a dog get ran over out in the street, They gracefully offered up a blanket for the poor pooch and were genuinely concerned for her well being. Sugar is well on her way to recovery, Thanks again for your kindness.

I arrived in Leadville with the intention of camping and hiking Mt. Elbert, but it was raining so hard I decided to get a motel. The Super 8 was $120 for a king for one night, which I thought was pretty steep, so ended up at the Timberline Motel instead. The cramped office had a family of 5 all sitting... More

Not just a perfect location but the only great location to stay in town. If your there to experience the mountain town that it is, this is the place to be. Management is great and they are making steady progress in updating.( A whole lot of it has happened the last 2-3 years). I have visited Leadville numerous times (over... More

My wife and I stayed here in May, 2013. The hotel seems to have been renovated recently. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly. The location cannot be beat for cruising around town on foot. We are heading back to Leadville next week and we are staying again. :)

This hotel is in the very center of leadville. Closer to bars and food than any other motel. Room was newly renovated and comfortable but was overpriced. Looked very ghetto from the outside and front desk staff gave me the impression that this place was very run down. It is what it is.

My wife and I have stayed here often. The manager is very friendly and loves our dogs. We have had nothing but good times staying here. While it is no Hilton the rooms are affordable and clean. They take dogs which is nice and even offer you dog blankets for the beds if your dogs are like ours and climb... More

Hello i have stayed at the Timberline for eight months on and off. It has the best prices around and the perfect location right in town. The management is Excellent providing everything you need and discounting the regular price for extended stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget. The only thing, is parking is tight. But... More

I usually don't read reviews from other people before adding my own, but the pattern for this motel was so odd (people either liked it or deeply disliked it) that I did this time. Over the years I've stayed here about 12 weeks altogether, through the time of some personnel changes, so I think I know what's going on with... More
