Be ready to be greeted by Maurice & Anna who will make you feel right at home. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and each is equipped with a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave oven. They always wait up for me to make sure I've made it, no matter how late the night.

I bought a house and moved from CA to CO but when I arrived the paperwork wasn't finished and I needed a place tstay. I stayed for 2 weeks waiting to move into my new house and it was clean, quiet and so comfortable. The staff was very friendly and my dog even had a great time there. Located in... More

A different sort of place that’s not for everyone. For a grand total less than $50, I was feeling pretty flexible. Owned by a family who appear to live on site, and who did all they could to make my stay comfortable. Seems like quite a few people live in this tiny motel, and the owners appear highly receptive to... More

This is a very nice mom and pop motel with a really nice owner. Family run. Very accommodating and dog friendly...Great place for birders at the awesome reservoir. You can't bring dogs in but can walk around the roads outside the reservoir in the country with your doggies.. Amazing number of birds just lovely.

We have stayed at this mom and pop motel several times now, with the most recent, last weekend. We travel to Dodge City about twice a year and this is a nice half way point to stop. Nothing fancy, just nice, quiet and clean. Great place for our pup also. The manager is always very accomodating and lets us have... More

I found this motel to be a great surprise so don't let the age of the building deter you. The rooms have been remodeled and have great airconditioners. The management is friendly and very pleasant to work with. They are dog friendly so bring the pooch. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

My wife, kids, and I stayed here for about a week. The rooms had been revamped since we last stayed here 8 years ago. Our stay then was good but the rooms are definitely better now. Just an FYI, the manager has a dog which came out to greet us when we arrived. The dog is friendly and harmless. The... More

La Junta CO was taking advantage of the oil pipeline guys and their $$$ so decided to check this little town 20 miles farther east, and to my amazement, another GREAT move and find on my behalf!?! Great price, clean rooms, recently remodeled, not a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn, in my opinion BETTER!! Small, rustic, older property with business... More

When I visit the Las Animas Area, I stay at this motel. It is clean and reasonably priced. All the rooms have been redone - completely, like down to the flooring - within the last couple of years. They do allow dogs to stay in this motel. For lunch there is a DQ right across the street and for dinner... More

Across the street from Dairy Queen. Quiet place. Small parking lot, not a lot of room if you have a truck. No pool or hot tub. Good place to just sleep and shower. Staff seems nice and there is a nice medium size dog to greet you as you arrive. They offer a discount for prison visitors, which was also... More
