Very rude service from the receptionist, would have left if we weren't so exhausted from driving. WAY OVER PRICED for phony amenities. Would not recommend to anyone, especially a family! The activities were none existent and frankly the park looked like a ghost town! That should have been our first indication. KOA'S much better facilities and activities for families.

Thank you for your feedback. It will help us better serve our future guests! We’re sorry that your experience was not all it could have been. Our activities are quite robust during the summer season, but they do drop off as we enter the colder months. More

First off I'd like to say that after reading the reviews I was a little worried. My week staying here proved me and all the reviews completely wrong. Yes, it is on the edge of a highway and has trains passing, but honestly, my 4 year old son absolutely loved getting too see the trains, and after the first night... More

Went camping for a week with kids and grand kids in two trailers. Had our spots at 60 and 119, not exactly what I would call together. Our choice at 119 was put our slide out or put our canopy up cause there wasn't room for both. Moved again the next day to #62 to be closer to the grandkids.... More

Upon arriving my parents and my family were to have side by side hookups. Rochelle at the front desk informed us that she herself had made the reservation and we had reserved sites at opposite ends of the park. They made arrangements for one of us to move the next day although we neither one ended up with sewer hookups.... More

Nice family location. The cabins were nice & the pool was clean. Lots of activities for the kids even some could have a little more effort put into them. Close to the highway so if you are used to camping with nature this is not the place to go. The golf carts are a must because everything is very spread... More

Thank you for your comments! You are right, we are a great place for young families to introduce their kids to the outdoors - but we are still pretty close to civilization (which is great for diaper trips and such)! More

This campground is large and a golf cart is a must to take in all of the activities d be prepared for numerous trains that go right alongside the location.. There are plenty of activities for the kids however, the majority of them stated late and some of the staff should be working elsewhere as their hospitality skills were zero.... More

Thank you for your comments. We will be making some changes in the coming camping season to fix your concerns. You are right about the trains. For those who love trains, it is great. For others, though, they take a bit to get used to. Fortunately almost everyone under 13 thinks the trains are cool. More

The campground itself & the staff were great. They had activities for the kids each day. The shower/restrooms were very nice & clean. The location was terrible. It is right beside I-25 & a railroad. You can hear cars & trains go by all day & night long.

As soon as we got to our campsite we knew we had made a mistake. The site we were given we was basically sitting over the other campers and was nothing but stones and pebbles. The staff were great and moved us to another site. The trains started passing by soon and this was the biggest nuisance. All night long... More

We have stayed at other Jellystones in Colorado and decided to try this one we went with some friends also. The registration was easy over the phone with them. When we arrived Marshall was awesome at getting us into our site, the playground was nice but no shade, crafts were cute but that's the only good things I have to... More

We stayed here long term while working in the area. They have a beautiful place in a great area for outdoors minded people. There are lots of trees and trails. There are very few places to park a travel trailer in this area; therefore, you become stuck with the good and bad of this park. Staff was hit and miss.... More
