Just spent several nights at the recently refurbished North Face Lodge. What a wonderful job the owners have done! Our room was just gorgeous, and really took us by surprise when we walked in. While the exterior of the place may not look that impressive at first, the rooms are great. The furnishings were clearly chosen with care to create... More

Thank you for your kind review! Yes, the "Antlers" room has been updated with granite kitchen countertop and it really does have great views. We will have the bathroom updated more with travertine before next season. Come see us again soon and you will see that we have more ideas in mind to improve our lodge and create a comfortable,... This is a lovingly refurbished row motel that's not especially impressive at first glance. We enjoyed the 4th of July weekend based here while we did some hiking and biking. The owners were accommodating, friendly, and informative. They've decorated each room around an outdoorsy, Colorado theme which certainly dispelled the old motel feel. For the fireworks, they welcomed all the... More

Nice, clean rooms. They are doing a total makeover of the hotel. Each room has a different theme. You can tell the owners take great pride in their hotel. There's a wonderful deck out back where groups gather to enjoy the evenings. The bed was very comfortable. Each room has a small fridge, microwave and coffe pot. TV had ESPN.

We spent three nights at the North Face Lodge and had a great time. Robin is a terrific host, very friendly and has great knowledge of the area. The views from the new deck can't be beat, especially early in the morning and at happy hour time. Nice clean and updated room, very private with plenty of parking for guests... More

We stayed in the Ute room, it has a very large king bed and kitchenette. The furniture is beautiful and the decorations in each room reflect the room's name. In our room, there were some amazing American Indian decorations--some of which appeared to be antique. The bed was super comfy, the room was large, kitchenette was well appointed-the only thing... This past September, my former company had a reunion at the North Face Lodge. The location was great as we could walk a few yards down to a cute and yummy bakery everyday and it was a short and breath-taking walk into the village for lunch and dinner. The great room of the Lodge was perfect for our group to... More

Stayed in Cowhands room for 3 nights in mid September. Nice sized room with very comfortable king bed, small refrigerator and microwave and very reasonably priced. Bed and bath linens were soft and of excellent quality. The only negative was no a/c and room took a while to cool down at night; otherwise our stay was very relaxing and quiet.... More

Some people get it right. Robin and her husband have hit the mark with their new lodge. This can be called nothing other than a lodge because it certainly isn't a motel. Not only are the rooms unique and completely different from each other but the nice sheets and towels make it homey. The bed was new, fluffy and comfy.... More

We chose this property for an overnight stay on our way to hiking Redcloud/Sunshine Peak the following morning. I, like the previous reviewer, stayed in the Ute Trail room which features a king sized bed. The room and bed were both comfortable with some recent upgrades to the bathroom. The room was decorated very nicely as well. The kitchenette was... More

This motel, which was recently renovated by new owners, has Colorado-themed rooms that are superbly decorated with great beds and high-end finishes. Bathroom was among best we have ever had in a motel. However, the motel is on a steep driveway at the very north end of town, so way "out of the action" area and removed from downtown, restaurants,... More
