I posted about the lodge's refusal to cancel our two day stay when my husband got sick and could not travel. Early the next morning I got an apology call from Mercedes with Keystone central reservations. She went above and beyond to say we should never have had this happen and said she had already taken steps to provide a... More

SHAME ON YOU! My husband became very ill and Ski Tip refused ANY refund. I offered to fax the doctor's statement that he could not travel. We were to spend two nights after my business training in Denver. When my husband encouraged me to go ahead so we would not lose money I asked to move one of the two... More

My girlfriend and I were planning a week long vacation in Colorado and I took the liberty of planning a secret getaway weekend during it and I came across this bed and breakfast. The managers, Tracy and Mercedes, were very helpful with planning my stay, as well as Erin with Key Stone Activities and Dining with my proposal plans. Well... More

I was planning on having my 70th birthday dinner there. Friends were coming in from all over the country. I made the reservation in May or June for a mid September dinner. I went to Keystone (where we have a home) in August and met with the person in charge and we discussed the layout of the room and also... More

First, we had a hard time finding the Inn it's not marked well. We were told when booking there was a hot tub. There is a hot tub you can use but it's a mile away.....at the Dakota inn at Keystone. The room was tiny! One place to sit in the room, not much room for anything else. Breakfast goes... More

Across the board, an excellent dining experience. Visited après-ski with wife and three children. Although the kids appreciate good food, the staff never assumed they'd prefer to eat chicken nuggets and fries-- though I'm sure they would have brought that out had we asked. The wine list offered many price-points, regions. Very well chosen selections. Even had a "beer geek... More

Every aspect of my Ski Tip experience was top-notch, beginning with the reception. Tracy at the front desk was very helpful, pointing out the location of the free parking lot at Keystone, as I was skiing that day and had arrived earlier than the check-in time. She informed me about the tea and pastry hour, for which I returned in... More

Let me preface this review by saying we have stayed at several historic bed and breakfast places and historic hotels in San Fran, Charleston, Savannah ect. so I am no stranger to the often cozy confines of historic buildings but our stay here was just not worthy of the current trip advisor rating. Pros- Very close to the slopes at... More

I would put this lodge in the 'romantic weekend' category. Everything about this place is cozy and relaxing. From the greeting at the front door by the receptionist, to the cookie jar upstairs on the cupboard, to the two separate living room areas with crackling fireplaces and comfortable seating, and to the chef-made breakfast included n the price of the... Ski Tip Lodge is part of Vail Resorts, so you can book your stay through them directly. Be sure to discuss your accommodations to make sure you get the room you want. I believe not all of the rooms have bathrooms; furthermore, no TV or phones, which was fine with me. We had a room with a queen bed that... More
