They over sell tickets to day trippers, so the hotel guests cannot enjoy a serene atmosphere the one and only pool was crowded, noisy and balls where flying every where. The one area that is designated to be a quiet zone-the vapor caves was full of chatty people--no enforcement. Rude staff. No Wi-Fi access, as promised. Left after 3 hours,... More

We stayed here one night cause thought it would be neat. the idea is neat but the place is in bad need of some major improvements. We stayed in the rooms across the street from the lodge. The rooms were musty smelling. the lighting needs changed, the carpet in the hallways are horrible. the pool had a lot to be... More

My husband and I stayed overnight at this establishment. We were assigned a room in the Lodge. The room was clean but had a musty odor to it so luckily I had taken a room deodorizer! There was no refrigerator, microwave in the room. The lightning was rather dim even in the bathroom and there was no hair dryer. The... More

Been coming here for 40 years. I am a car guy, so let's compare this to a classic, um say, 30 year old BMW (bear with me, I know about the age difference!) Cool when new. Nice paint, good suspension, no leaks, beautiful leather smell, no exhaust leaks, etc. What is critical to remember before I proceed is that the... More

This place was a major disappointment. The room while not expensive was deficient in a number of ways. The devised closet was such that every time you got out of bed, you ran into the wooden hangers protruding from the wall. The bathroom was way under lit and the towel rack was broken and pulling away from the wall. There... More

We stayed in the "Lodge" section, which is not old but is somewhat run down. It needs repairs and general sprucing up. The warm pool (included in the cost of lodging) is about 90-95 F, and is pleasant for an hour or two. The continental breakfast (included on weekends) consists of toast, pastries, cereals, and beverages. Did not seem much... More

This is definitely not the accommodations that the word "resort" brings to mind. However, the fact that it is a historic building built around a bath house that was constructed in the mid-1800's, the overall charm is a reasonable counter for the lack of overall amenities. A sign in the lobby "Don't attempt to light your lamps... they are Edison... More

The inn seemed clean to us, and the price was good for what you get. They even had a military discount. The main resort rooms are very basic because it was built in the 1800s. You'll get a bed, a sink, and a toilet; no shower, but they are upfront about that when you check in. If you want a... More
