Really enjoyed my brief stay. I can't say enough good things about Vickie and her lovely home. She's a wonderful host and so knowledgeable about the area and Colorado in general. The house was warm, inviting, and spotlessly clean. Location was perfect for me: Idaho Springs has good food/drink/coffee choices and is right at the intersection of 70 and the... More

We like staying at B&Bsas they are usually a lot better than hotels. This is certainly the case with Vickie's "Miners Pick B&B in Idaho Springs Colorado. We arrived exhausted after another 10-hour drive and were warmly welcomed by Vickie, shown our room etc.The room was clean and comfortable with above average soaps and lotions and we had a great... What a wonderful surprise! Vicki was very professional and kind, our bed was comfy, and boy was that breakfast delicious! My wife and I got stuck in a winter travel closure on I-70 one night and decided to stay at Miners Pick, based on solid reviews on TripAdvisor. We left the next day feeling we had a little vacation. Looking... More

We paid for one night almost three years ago in this B&B but our plan kept changing thus unable to use the reservation that season. Somehow we totally forgot about this place until this season. Vicki was nice enough to agree to honor this ancient reservation and we only needed to pay $20 for the price difference. Upon arrival, Vicky... More

This was the second time staying here and enjoyed it just as much this time. Vicky is always torturing you with amazing, delicious smells from her kitchen. She is a wonderful cook! The rooms are adorable, beds are comfy, abd everything is very clean and well kept. A never get away from Denver.

When we booked Vicki followed up confirming gluten-free, vegetarian and feather-free requests Quiet, creaky, comfortable home, a welcome at 10pm for tired travellers, and a well appointed, comfortable room with large soaking tub. Vicki creates such a comfortable ambiance in the morning, with a fire, gentle music, and warm incandescent lighting beaming through tiffany shades. Breakfast itself is a generous... More

If you're looking for a quieter place to stay, away from the noise in Denver, this B&B would suit you well. It's in the quaint town of Idaho Springs. Located steps away from downtown, it's easily accessible from I-70, 30 miles west of Denver, CO. Made reservations here a few months before coming to CO to a Red Rocks show.... More

We stayed one night here on our way to Fraser Colorado. Owner Vikki is very friendly and makes a mean breakfast. Accommodation is spotless, and very comfortable nights sleep here. Looks a cut above the competition in Idaho Springs and would recommend for a stay.

My fiancee and I stayed at the B and B prior to visiting Mount Evans. We were lucky to catch the last day of the year that Mount Evans was open prior to road construction. Miner's Pick was clean and cozy and conveniently located near Miner's Street. Breakfast was delicious and Idaho Springs is a fun town to visit. Be... More

This B & B seems to only have 3 rooms and the owners are super nice. The location is right in town and easy to walk to shops and restaurants. That being said, I would not stay there again because of the arrangement of the rooms. Our room was next to a loud talking neighbor and it was quite disturbing.... More
