Ute Trail Motel is a typical mid-century style motor hotel. We had a two-room suite with a bedroom and a living room with a futon, table, TV, small fridge and microwave. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We weren't bothered by any highway or train noise. While the furniture, etc., may be aging a bit, everything was clean and well... More

Travel back in time at this wonderfully charming knotty pine motel. Rooms feature hard wood floors, 2 rooms, full kitchens and bath. All knotty pine sided. Furnishing are western motif. And best of all rates are super affordable and pet friendly. Immaculate. Thank you. Will be back!

The owners' friendliness and all the work they have put into their property make this a most enjoyable place to stay. Our room was very clean and better equipped, including the kitchen, than I ever expected. The knotty pine walls, traditional motel layout and personalized friendly service made our visit feel like the places I used to stay on trips... More

Motels were booked in Granby where we were attending an airport dedication. Even one week before the event, we booked the last room at this rustic motel along the Hot Sulphur Springs-Granby highway. As you might expect of an older motel, pine wood walls, well used but very clean furniture and bathroom furnishings made this motel what I would call... More

...depending on your age. The place feels like something from the 1950s or early 60s. The furnishings were like something out of grandma's house, but comfortable enough. I had a bit of trouble with the bed but my husband was fine. We had the kitchenette unit. There's no air conditioning but the office will supply you with a large box... More

Hot Sulphur Springs is a great little town to get away from it all! They have the hot springs and hiking around. We stayed at The Ute Trail Motel and couldn't have been more happy. The room was clean and rustic which was what we were looking for! The owners were more than helpful and so sweet. It was a... More

We love staying here! Rooms are clean and quaint. If you aren't looking for fancy the Ute will probably meet your needs. Many of the rooms have two separate bedroom areas which is nice for families. The owner is lovely! Take advantage of the discounted tickets to Hot Sulphur Springs Pools. My only complaint is not being able to book... More

I would agree with a number of the other comments about this motel. It was rustic & a bit worn but we got a lot for our money. It IS run by the nicest people who were very hospitable & helpful. Even our dogs were made to feel welcome. Our room had a kitchenette & an extra single bed if... More

Stopped here for a one night stay on our way to Rocky Mt National Park. It is a bit worn and rustic bit incredibly clean and run by the nicest people! They were very helpful and accommodating. Lack of restaurants in the immediate area but they will give you some great suggestions. We had better TV reception and internet service... More

The hotel is very rustic, a bit worn, but very clean and mostly functional (the lighting in the bathroom and the tub/shower were our only complaints). The internet was very fast and reliable which was a pleasant surprise for such an isolated community. The region is a bit isolated but the local population is very friendly and helpful. The scenery... More
