very nice springs. some of the best that I have ever seen, and I have been all over. I think they recently changed management; or the owners have accumulated gambling debts; their customer service is terrible and they nickel and dime you over the stupid stuff. really, really dumb. if there managers would just be logical and reasonable this resort... Visited Hot Sulfur Springs for a getaway since I found out that this springs has one of the highest mineral content for natural springs. Loved the individual pools, but more importantly, LOVED that the water is 100% natural mineral water and is not heated. I've been to other springs that have poorly maintained water sources and has to be heated... More

This is a rustic mountain hot springs. If you start from that expectation, it is a wonderful place. The facilities are reasonably well-kept, there are a large number of pools with varying degrees of temperature and minerality. This is set in a very beautiful mountain canyon. We spent the whole afternoon there with friends and had a very relaxing time.... More

I haven't stayed at the hotel but have used there hot springs. I have to say the water is the main attraction. The bathroom facilities are awful. Lockers rusting through and just no upkeep in the bathroom area. I have visited here 15 years plus and not much has changed. The staff is wonderful but please put some money into... More

We stayed at the 1840 cabin which was nice enough, but for $250 a night (shoulder season!!), I expected SO much more. If you rent the apartment, you get the run of the hot springs after they close--fun for group I would think. The hot springs, at least the fall weekend we were there, were not at all busy. I... I stay here in the apartment once a year during the winter we rent the apartment because it gives you access to the Springs late at night with no one else around to enjoy as a couple by yourself truly romantic relaxing and worth the money eat at the local restaurant or the local bar for a good burger

Room at the end. 117 I think. Pretty private. Clean and tidy despite the age of the facility. Functional. The train is RIDICULOUS but I liked it! First night went to the pools to chill...very enjoyable. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Went back the next day but it was crowded and I was weirded out by the stuff floating in... More

This little resort (probably a misnomer) offers a unique chance for you and your family to experience hot sulphur water springs at various temperatures (from 98-112). The resort rooms are not what you'd expect from a "resort" but rather a very rustic, "Bates Hotel" opportunity to explore your simplistic, adventure side. The setting is serene and definitely less crowded in... More

What a delight to come upon. Family owned natural springs in the middle of the Rockies. Rooms are small but well maintained, nothing fancy. With the room you get that day and the next day use of all the different temperature tubs. They offer coffee in the morning but doesn't start till 8:00

Had a very relaxing time soaking in the pools and a nights stay at the Sulphur Hot Springs. We checked in and the staff was very friendly. The room was very basic but very comfortable. We warned about the train, which YES we did hear but it did not bother either one of us. The vendor even provides earplugs, which... More
