I was hesitant after reading some of the negative comments about the cleanliness. Let me explain, if you want a sparkling pool, go to one with chlorine and chemicals. These pools are amazing natural, hot springs!! The growth on the rocks are plants like you would find in the wilderness. The pools are skimmed ever hour. Yes, I would like... More

The tubs were pretty nice overall. A few were slimy but I guess that's to be expected. All the tubs are labeled with their temperate and are extremely relaxing. There's a nice mix of temperatures, sizes, and locations of the tubs. Some are outside some are in. As you move back the pools gets hotter. The smell of sulphur wasn't... More

This was our third trip in five years to Hot Sulphur Springs. As before, we enjoyed ourselves greatly. The spa offers a variety of pools of different temperatures, from about 90 degrees to 113, and three indoor and several shaded pools for when the high altitude sun threatens to burn. The pools are clean and the grounds are well kept.... More

I really wanted to like this place, and it has its moments. But the biggest complaint is that it is pricey for the kids with very little payoff - about 12 bucks for over age 2 . Adults is about 20 bucks. So why complain about 12 bucks a kid? Only 5 of the 20 pools (and by "pools" there... More

We were really glad that we made the stop at the Sulphur Spring. In addition to the various pools we relaxed in, we also enjoyed the company of friendly people we met there. The waters were nice and warm and definitely relaxing, with an emphasis on relaxing. Don't miss the pool with the water fall. We did not stay at... More

Six adults came for just a midmorning massage and soak. The staff was friendly. Massage therapist are talkative but we all felt relaxed afterwards. Bring water. Worth a visit - the property isn't fancy at all but it's quiet.

Hot Sulphur spring near the Colorado river. You can overnight with the resort, in town at a hotel a few blocks away, or in summer, multiple campsites within 1 mile of this facility. Recommend the magnesium pool inside for sore joints, or the waterfall pool up above for some heat therapy. Kid zone down below kwwps it quiet. Weekday evenings... More

Love this place. 2 hours from Denver (and a fine drive at that) makes it easily accessible for a relaxing day trip. Not a high-toney resort, just a small comfortable spot for a little getaway. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, nice little restaurants and shops nearby. Affordable and cozy. The magnesium pool lets you float in relative weightlessness. Soothing. Tony S.... More

For about $20 you can enjoy all the many hot sulfur pools that they offer. All are different temps so I would suggest starting at a low temp and working your way up. I would suggest going during the morning on a weekday when the crowds are light because most of the pools are small and you want to be... More

A two hour drive from Denver. This is a collection of medium sized and small soaking pools of varying temperature. The setting is man-made, don’t expect anything picturesque. The facilities are dated and the locker rooms are dingy. There are alternatives, seek those out instead.
