I stayed here for 2 nights in the la plata vista room. When I arrived air conditioner in room was broken no TV for both nights, noise from guests at patio on lower level ruined my balcony peaceful time. I found the grounds to be in big need of trimming had to walk through many weeds to get to lake.... More

My friend's daughter got married at The Ridgewood Event Center (a gorgeous venue!) & rented The Upper and Lower Springs homes for some of the family. I was totally blown away by how nice the homes were. Every other home we looked at there were all very nice as well. The breakfasts were amazing & Jackie, well, we all wanted... More

My wife and I stayed at the Sunset Casita for a destination wedding. This is a very nice place that is out away from civilization but is only 20 minutes from Durango. Our room was awesome and very peacful and relaxing. Breakfasts always had a good variety to choose from and some great coffee. Very gracious and genuine new owners... More

Blue Lake is beautiful, pleasantly off the beaten track, wonderfully peaceful. This was our second visit, and it has already become a home away from home for us -- a favorite destination. The staff is gracious, knowledge, and extremely helpful. The inn is very family friendly and low-key, as well as elegant; we have always enjoyed interacting with other guests,... More

The property is spectacular! The flowers, the architecture of the buildings, and the decor are lovely. We stayed in the Sunrise Casita which I understand is a little larger than the Sunset. It has many windows and lovely views. The casita has a large bathroom with double sinks, a closet, walk-in shower and tub, which you cannot see in the... More

This resort is beautiful, but it seems to be going downhill. Our outdoor patio was not swept and there were lots of cobwebs. The patio of the lower unit was in serious disrepair, cement and bricks crumbling and the area itself full of dead branches and debris. The curtain rods in our bathroom were broken and sagging. The sheets were... More

A beautiful place. When I come to Durango in the future, I will be sure to visit this place again. The staff was beyond friendly...absolutely the best. We had to leave early for a jeep trip and had to miss breakfast. The staff stocked my frig the night before with breakfast, and the following morning the chef "a very nice... More

I do not like to write a negative review and seldom have to because I select where I'm going to stay carefully. Blue Lake Ranch is a lovely setting, the breakfasts were delicious and interesting, there are lovely lovely gardens, and the staff friendly. The rooms are spacious and could be terrific but they need attention and a thorough cleaning.... More

This enchanting inn surrounds you in nature, provides the comforts of home, and guarantees a restful and relaxing get away! The rooms are comfortable and cozy, the home made breakfasts are created from the freshest ingredients by Jackie and Julia in the kitchen. All staff are warm and friendly, and attentive to guests' individual needs. This is our third time... More

Beautiful location to relax in Colorado. Gorgeous property with gardens everywhere, nice lake, meadow, and some wildlife. The staff were all very courteous and a special shout out to Jackie who was just a delight every morning. I would have given Blue Lake Ranch five stars, but for the price we paid, there needs to be more attention to detail... More
