Our room was attractively decorated, the bed comfortable, and we had a lovely view of the lawn sloping down to the ocean. I always like having an ensuite bathroom and three of the bedrooms at this B and B have them. There is a small child's room that does not have it's own bathroom. Breakfast is casual here. Mary will... More

We were fortunate when we arrived to get a room with a view of the ocean. Our stay here was terrific, and Mary is a wonderful hostess. Breakfast was excellent each morning, and I am sure that you could have sat at the table all day and listened to stories that Mary had to tell about her and her husband.... More

My Wife & I plus our 2 friends from U.K. stayed with Mary for the last 2 days of or wonderful Maritime Vacation. It was the last of 7 great B&BS & turned out to be one of the best. We had the place to ourselves & Mary was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble & the food... More

Mary fixes an excellent breakfast and her artwork is a pleasure to see as well. She stayed up very late for our arrival after U.S. Air screwed up our flight plan. She was very gracious about that and gave us good information on what to do while we were in Halifax. The room was very nice and everything was spotless.

Our two-night stay at Eastern Passage Bed and Breakfast was great. Mary and Albert are wonderful hosts. Our room was very comfortable. Mary provided us with lots of insights about the community of Eastern Passage, where to catch a bite to eat, and what to see. Eastern Passage is on the eastern side of the Halifax harbour, and from the... More

Eastern Passage B&B was extremely comfortable and Mary was a wonderful host. It really seemed like a hotel because we had our bathrooms conveniently located in each of our rooms. Beds were so comfortable and breakfast was a cereal, fruit, bacon, eggs and and probably anything else we would have requested. Mary was adequately welcoming and knowledgeable about the area.... Overall a very good B&B. Mary was accommodating to our late arrival and was very helpful with travel tips. Very comfortable bed and room, with modern bathroom. Free Wifi (fast), parking & cable TV. Location might be a problem as it is 25mins drive from downtown Halifax although if that isn't an issue the view over the bay is fantastic.... More

This was our second stay in two years. Mary remembered us and gave us the same room as before. Travelling on a motorcycle, laundry is an important issue and Mary happily let us use her washer and dryer. It was greatly appreciated. The room is comfortable. Had no problem getting two good nights' sleep. Internet is fast and TV selection... More

Much different than your ordinary B&B. This is a purpose built home with a raised lower level dedicated to guests. There's a separate entrance from the driveway into the common room. Mary keeps several guest rooms; ours was spotless, well equipped, and comfortable. But even better, the lovely large guest common room was equipped with a really large flat panel... More

Sort of out of the way, but only twenty minutes from Dartmouth and a few miles from a little seaport village where you can find plenty of fresh local seafood (cooked and not). This is a purpose-built B&B so all the amenities are there, and new and clean. The huge TV-gathering room has a billiards table, microwave and small fridge
