Attempted to tent camp at Rocky Top Campground, but was immediately turned away at the lack of space & grass. We could barely pull into our campsite because a dog was sitting in the way & it was a tight squeeze with other "campers" on both sides. If you want to get a feel for Colorado's beautiful landscape this is... More

Stayed here over Labor Day weekend in the RV park. For the price, the park is not that bad. The problem we had is %90 of the people staying are permanent residents. They are old grumpy people that feel that it is "their park". They are rude and go out of their way to let you know that you are... More

My daughter and I spent one night in a tent site. The people were wonderful and we felt so welcomed. There was a slight incident with noisy dogs, but it was quickly addressed and no more problems. Showers were clean and convenient. Views were beautiful. Great night.

oh i loved it here! it was excellent. I just didnt like where my campsite was but it's fine. I assume that it was just packed the two nights i was there. This campsite was extremely quiet even though there we're lots of campers and trailers out there compared to where i was @ Estes Park. Bathrooms and showers we're... More

Chose Rocky Top because the RV parks in Manitou Springs were very crowded - and glad I did. Had a great view and the weather (temperature) was better. Very close to Pikes Peak and Florissant Fossil Beds. The staff and long-term guests were friendly. When I return to this area, I will stay here again.

I stayed here a few days last week. It's far enough from CoSprings to be at a cooler/fresher altitude but close enough to CoSprings to run into the city if you like. It has easy/quick access to Woodland Park (Dinosaur Resource Center), Divide (Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center), and Cripple Creek (multiple great museums and tours). The motel rooms have... More

We overnighted at the Rocky Top Motel on a recent hiking trip. This was our fourth stay here. On this one, we took the 'Queen-shower only' room. This is a smaller room than the ones with the kitchenettes, though it was roomy enough for two of us. If you have kids, go for one of the kitchenette rooms. There is... More

Room was spacious and front door opened to parking area. Had prepaid for 3 nights but only stayed two and no refund if you don't stay entire time. No A/C and the heater was wall mounted without a blower so room would get really hot then get chilly (back and forth all night). Bed was hard as rock (almost) however... More
