I enjoyed my overnight stay. The front desk staff was friendly, my room was clean, and the bed comfy. Their bar was very nice with limited food and, unfortunately for us, no music the night we were there. Their continental breakfast was adequate. The only reason I gave them 4 vs. 5 stars was that I couldn't get into the... More

The Gateway Inn is the perfect place to stay for exploring this part of Colorado. It is just outside the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Every evening, we drove into the park to watch the wildlife! The town of Grand Lake is a quaint, quieter alternative to Estes Park, on the other side of the RMNP. We did... More

The Gateway Inn is a lovely hotel with all the usual amenities plus a great lounge with outdoor seating on their deck which overlooks the lake. During our 5-night stay there, we enjoyed live music on the deck on two different occasions. The deck tables have fire pits to keep you warm and the hotel provides fixins for s'mores. The... More

Hubby and I enjoy our one night stay at the Gateway Inn. I picked this inn for its closeness to the west side of the Rocky Mtn National Park.. We were please with our room, it was clean and the beds were comfy.. The front desk workers were pleasant and helpful. There is a beautiful view of the lake from... More

Best time ever. Went for a 2 day stay for our anniversary, and decided to stay for three. Everyone there was so friendly. Rooms were very clean, and bed was comfortable. True mountain feel. The atmosphere was very cozy, it felt like we were at home. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean mountain place... More

We spent one night in a basic room overlooking the parking lot. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bar and deck are fantastic. We went for happy hour and stayed a couple hours listening to great music and making s'mores over the fire pit on the deck. The free breakfast in the morning was the typical cereal, fruit, yogurt,... Beautiful lodge on a mountain lake! Awesome view of the town and lake below! No complaints, other then no one emptied our garbage from the previous room tenant. Breakfast was good! Will come back here if we come this direction again.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our Rocky Mtn. National Park vacation. The view from the deck was awesome. It is huge and allows people to mingle and meet each other. The band/music one night was great fun. The hummingbirg feeders were a cool touch. The room we had was clean and decorated in log cabin style, so it... More

This cozy inn had it all. Clean comfortable rooms, a nice lounge area, and an excellent location right off Trail Ridge road. The staff was very friendly and they hosted some fun events. We would definitely stay again!!!

This was our first night stay on a whirlwind, 3 week, 4500 mile journey out west. We LOVED the location of the hotel and enjoyed the hot tub, friendly staff, and views. The only thing we weren't AS pleased with was the comfort of the room. It was not the most appealing room aesthetically, and the beds weren't very comfortable.... More
