We stayed 2 nights and loved it! The Inn was very welcoming and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed happy hour and the incredible views from the patio on our last night. We also twice took advantage of the hot tub and the great setting it was in. Next time we'll get a room with a balcony but we had... More

I recently made a reservation for this inn in Grand Lake, The staff was very polite and the happy hour was great. Free popcorn and very reasonably priced drinks. There was the opportunity for the use of the hot tub and sauna but we ran out of time. We were also offered smores at the firepit but due to the... More

My husband and I just spent a wonderful weekend get-away at the Gateway Inn and we will definitely return again and again! The rooms were cozy and clean; the atmosphere in the lounge was welcoming and family friendly . . . . they even had the supplies to make s'mores on the deck. Thank you Lisa for your warm and... Stayed at this hotel overnight while visiting friends. It has that rustic log cabin look and feel on the inside. Hotel has a bar (with happy hour) and a nice continental breakfast. Pre-cooked scrambled egg rounds with cheese were available to make a breakfast sandwich! You don't usually see that on a 'continental breakfast' bar.

We got a Groupon and it was a really great deal so we went for my husband's birthday. For the most part, it was good! They give you all the supplies for S'mores every night and have fire pits that you can make them on. The breakfast was okay. There was fruit, cereal, yogurt, croissants (which you can put eggs... So this review is for the amazing service of the folks working at the reception desk & the bar. The bar is very clean & the whole place is done up in the "mountain fabulous" style. We only stopped in for a few drinks and to warm up by the fireplace as we weren't staying there, but at the Rv... More

My husband arranged this trip. This hotel was very nice. The room was large and the king bed was comfortable. View was very pretty of the mountains. Staff was friendly. The only possible nnegative was that the hotel is bordered by two semi busy roads but it honestly wasn't bad. Reccommend!

My wife and I booked a room at Gateway Inn with friends visiting from out of state. First of all, our friends received an email on Friday night, from Groupon, stating that their booking was cancelled. Subsequently, they contacted the hotel, were placed on hold for a long time and were then hung up on twice, while trying to re-book.... More

we will definitely be back! On checking in, we asked about the "fine print offer" we'd seen on the website about upgrading, if possible, and apparently, it was possible! We were upgraded from a double queen room to a gorgeous king room, complete with our own little balcony. The unexpected "spa touches" were great, right down to sleep masks and... More

This is a well run Inn with charm. The walls are covered with things you expect to see in Colorado...animal heads, skins and big stuffed animals that are unique displays. The rooms are very clean and nice. Both times we have used the small balcony. No micro but frig. Our room was on the 1st floor which is like being... More
