Its my 8th year at the Gateway Inn with my snowmobile group, and this place fits the bill. Its very clean and the rooms have character, they are quite, and comfortable. Its conveniently located, near the start of town and all the snowmobile activity's,or lake in the warm season. We will return for sure next year. Tom Whitaker

What a BEAUTIFUL place! Peaceful and relaxing with gorgeous views! Went on a whim with a Groupon because we just wanted to get out of the house. We live in Ft. Collins and I thought this was on "our" side of the Rockies......(Estes Park)- after looking at map I realized it was on the other side- and with Trail Ridge... More

We had a room with king size bed and balcony facing the lake and mountains, absolutely beautiful! The staff was kind and helpful and we enjoyed our time in the lounge. A lovely "rustic" place to stay and it was also our first time in Grand Lake which we thoroughly enjoyed. Loved going out in the snow to the hot... More

The room with a king size bed and balcony was very clean and comfy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This was our first visit to Grand Lake area and it didn't disappoint. The hotel is located very close to the lake and 2 miles away from nordic center (for skiing/tubing in the winter time). We stayed at the... More

This was a family friendly inn with great amenities! The warm welcome from the front desk was a great way to start a weekend-away. Our room was clean, warm, and we all slept great. We enjoyed the games in the evening with the complementary popcorn, the hot tub at night, and a good breakfast in the morning. We would bring... More

We stayed one night so that we could drive in to Rocky Mountain National Park. The room with a king size bed was very clean and comfy. Paid a little extra for room with balcony over looking lake and mountain and it was worth it. Nice relaxing stay.

I just came back yesterday from Gateway Inn and I loved it. The two ladies in the front are so nice friendly and so helpful. We got a room with a balcony and the views of the lakes where amazing. It was so relaxing. The breakfast and the free smores at night time was a big plus. The guy at... More

We just got back from 3 days at the Gateway Inn. It was our second stay and we look forward to returning in April. Everything was clean, nice size rooms and a great location. The ladies at check in were both very efficient and gracious. Shawn, at the bar, is friendly and serves a good beer. He's pretty much in... More

Nice, clean, well run hotel in Grand Lake. Hot tub, exercise room, game area, very large deck that overlooks the town. Happy hour for adults and smore's for the kids. What Smore could you ask for? I have to add four words to make the minimum.

I only stayed one night....don't stay in room 106. The window in our room backed up to the parking so it was noisy while we were trying to sleep. You hear the beep beep sound of trucks backing up. I told my husband to get a room over the lake but I guess they were sold out. We stayed January... More
