The room was very nice, clean and beautiful view from our balcony. The included breakfast provided a good assortment with fresh fruit, bread assortments, cereal , yogurt, eggs, coffee, juice. The entire stay was spoiled by the music and very loud noise of a few people on the deck outside the bar which was just below and to the right... More

We stayed only one night and enjoyed the hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the deck was great as the hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the lake and the beautiful valley around Grand Lake. The room was large and reasonably well-appointed. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. It would have... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Gateway Inn. The room was comfortable and the view of the lake from the room and deck of the lounge area was great. It was easily accessible, but far enough away from downtown that it was peaceful and quiet. We were there for happy hour and the live music on Sunday night. We... More

I appreciated the spaciousness of the room, the little frig, good/firm bed mattresses and the ability to regulate the temperature. But for $150/night, there is a lot to be desired. One, morning coffee sucked. If you want good coffee you have to drive to the deli and get it. Two, breakfast was only mildly better. Croissants were old and of... More

My husband and I found Gateway Inn by accident and we had a great experience staying here overnight on Aug 5. It's not fancy but it's got a fantastic deck overlooking the lake. I would stay here again.

Had a 1 night reservation for a Sunday night. Happy hour 4-6 pm with a music group playing 5-8 pm on the outside deck (on Sunday nights in the summer), which were great. We got lucky on the weather as poured down rain but stopped in time for the music group to play outside and us to enjoy. Bedding extremely... More

Stayed here one night on my way to Wyoming, and everything was just fine. Clean, comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Do ask for a room facing the lake if you are on the ground floor, otherwise you will have a view of the parking lot....not ideal at all. The outside deck has a nice view of... More

3 of us stayed here on road trip through CO for one night before hitting RMNP. Hotel was clean, rooms huge and sparsely decorated, beds were big and comfy, refrigerators and A/C were great since there was a heat wave. Not really walking distance to town but we had had late lunch in town and settled in on fantastic deck... More

Grand lake is a lovely, quiet area. There are not a lot of lodging optionsin the area though. The price here is reasonable. Not a lot of frills. View is nice. I gave this place a 3 because our bed was lopsided. We had a rollaway bed for one of our kids that was not in the best shape either.... More

This property is the nicest in Grand Lake. Incredible views of the mountains and lake from their deck and the rooms with balconies. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated with pine furniture. Rooms are clean, have dish tv with plenty of channels to select from. The short walk into downtown is less than half a mile and takes only... More
