The Bighorn Lodge is on the edge of Grand Lake Colorado just a few miles from Rocky Mountain National Park. You can easily walk to town for your meals from the lodge. It was very reasonably priced. Check in was easy. There are very few parking places in the parking lot but thankfully we were there at a slow time... more

The Bighorn Lodge (aka America's Best Value Inn) is a Motel style lodge in the center of Grand Lake at the west entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park. A bar and a supermarket are in immediate vicinity and there is a nice view to the mountains from the motel location. We stayed there for two nights and found the... more

Stayed one night. Excellent service by the owners. They allow you to drop your room key in a mailbox out front (vs. checking out) but we accidentally took it with us when distracted by the honey-buns in the lobby. Thought we were in trouble, but the lady that answered the phone was very nice and told us to just put... more

My husband and I stayed here for one night in late June, 2006. The motel is located on the main street in Grand Lake, within walking distance of restaurants and the lake. This motel is a standard, two-story Best-Value Inn property. The room had two queen beds and a standard bathroom. It was not fancy, but everything was very clean... more

This hotel is nothing to brag about, but it served it's purpose of a clean place to sleep and had hot showers. We arrived into town late after driving all day. The room was $75, and we thought this wasn't too bad because prices are higher in this tourist town. They did not offer any continental breakfast. There was coffee... more

We paid $150 for a room with a view of the back of a stair case. The room was clean, but nothing special. They provided a communal coffee pot and powdered sugar doughnuts in the lobby, and not much else. It would have been okay at $75, but a rip-off at $150. There are enough other hotels in town, surely... more
