My family and I were looking for someplace that we had not been a few hours away from our home in Denver. What we found was a place which we hope to get to every year. The view, the staff and the accommodations (cabin #14) were wonderful. We had a great weekend and look forward to doing it again next... More

Stayed here for two nights at the end of September. Its a great place with a beautiful view. The cabins are small but updated. Had everything we needed including a microwave and mini fridge. The bathroom was very nice but the shower was super tiny. Hard to even turn around. The restaurant was very good. Service was friendly but a... More

2 nights in Estes Park and 3 nights in Grand Lake. A great way to do the Rocky Mountain National Park. Beautiful lakes; good hiking near by. Good restaurants. Quieter than Estes Park but certainly fun.

We go to Grand Lake a few times a year and this was the first time we'd stayed at the Grand Lake Lodge. It is amazingly beautiful and the cabins are quaint and comfortable. We had rented three different cabins and all of them were fantastic. Cabin No. 17 had the best view, highly suggest renting it. We did not... More

We went to grand lake for the night and really enjoyed the lodge. the restaurant was comfortable with nice window views for your table. We ordered the whiskey steak and buffalo meatloaf. The steak was tender but the meatloaf was a bit too salty. The mashed potatoes were tasty. The bread was fantastic. The service was fine. We had breakfast... More

This was our third stay at the Grand Lake Lodge, but our first in almost twenty years. We found both the lodge and the town to be as charming and delightful as we had remembered. The lodge is beautifully located overlooking the town of Grand Lake, and the views of the lakes and the mountains are wonderful. It has the... More

At $140/night we had a very cute little cabin with a little porch. Short walking distance to the main lodge. Small gift shop with a few good souvenirs. Restaurant was good. Town was less than a mile away, but the view is what made me write this review. The lodge truly does have "Colorado's favorite front porch." It is just... More

I spent an evening at the Grand Lake Lodge last Saturday (9/6/2014) for the wedding of one of my cousins. I was at first impressed by the unbelievably beautiful views that the lodge offers both from the cocktail deck and lower reception deck. If any of the rest of the night had lived up to those views I would have... More

We stayed for an on site wedding. The room was very clean and had a great rustic, woodland theme. It room was small and the shower very small. But it was comfortable and the views and location balanced the room size out. The real rustic jewel was the lodge with the fireplaces and the chairs invitingly surrounding it. It rained... More

The cabins are rustic, so the bathrooms are small and there are no closets to hang clothes. Our first 2 nights were in a double bed with a bunk on top. It was very claustrophobic. Our next 2 nights we had a queen which was very comfortable. The parking could be difficult. It was not as close to town as... More
