On vacation from the UK. If you are heading for the Rocky Mountain National Park, stay in beautiful Grand Lake rather than Estes Park. Delightful main street set by Grand Lake and the Rockies as a backdrop. If you take my advice, stay at the Bighorn Lodge. Small but beautifully formed. Very welcoming, nice room and a very good price.... More

My husband and I decided to spend 2 extra days in the Rockies, on the west side of the park. We booked this place via the Internet. +We got a good rate --110 dollars per night. +We had a big room and it was very clean. +It was relatively quiet (though it is on the main road) +It is less... More

This is a good place to stay in Grand Lake and not break the bank. Clean and basic accommodations but that is all you need if you are there to visit the park. There is a Dairy King next door that has a number of good selections after a day of hiking and site seeing in the park.

Booked online for convenient access to the south entrance to Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park. Fridge unplugged upon arrival. Sauna advertised but unavailable. Decent eateries in the area. Not the best place in town, but suited our over night needs. Room was clean, beds lumpy. Was not bothered by neighbor noise. Would stay here again.

This is the second time we stayed here and were very pleased once again. The rooms are clean and a nice size. We were able to watch hummingbirds right outside our window. Very comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave, but the fridge was unplugged when we arrived. The heat was not on in the room and I was told it would take a while to warm up. I arrived at 3 pm and the room was still not warm at 6... More

I stayed here while doing some snowmobiling in the area with some friends. It was a very good choice. The prices were very reasonable and offered much more than expected. The service was excellent and the employees were quite personable, I came to learn that it is operated by the owners and it is seen that they take pride and... More

Location OK, walking distance to almost any facility in Grand Lake Room was dark (we got the one by stairs) and veeeery warm. I can't sleep with noisy AC on, so not very relaxing. There's hot tub, but was occupied, so I can't review that. Wifi was weak and slow, good signal only by window.

We were stuck without a room and were sort of backed into this place. It was incredibly clean and spacious. There was a fridge and microwave which were really missed in other hotels on our trip. It is family owned and operated place. Though they bickered in ear shot about the hassle of providing us with a crib, they set... More
