We stayed here in our RV and enjoyed the facilities The campground is very clean and most spaces have shade trees and grass. The temperature was in the 90s while we were here and we definitely appreciated having shade. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and well maintained as is the pool. There is a game room with a... More

While traveling across this beautiful country for several years, finding a nice RV Park, can be a challenge. We have found that most KOA's, sadly have become old, outdated and pretty substandard. We were, therefore, not looking forward to our two day stop in Grand Junction, Colorado at the Grand Junction KOA! We could not believe it, when we pulled... More

First, the campground is located on Highway 50 in Grand Junction right next door to the county fairgrounds. Hwy 50 is a four lane divided highway. You can only turn into the KOA if you approach from the West. There are U-Turns at stoplights both east and west of the KOA and we had NO PROBLEM doing a U-turn in... More

I love KOA campgrounds. They are ways clean and nice and have fun things for kids to do. The location for this one isn't great- but then again this was our first time to GJ and the town isn't anything to write home about. We went for one night passing thru on our way to Zion. The hosts were really... More

This was a good RV park. We did an over-night stay with our travel trailer on the way to CA. Make sure you look at the surrounding roads on a map before you arrive...access from one direction is easy...from the other, not so much. But, after having our GPS "re-calculate", we arrived OK. Staff was great and very friendly. Services... More

We wanted to avoid long days while traveling to Denver, Co, so we decided Grand Junction, Colorado, would be a nice stop before the mountains and I-70. Finding the campground using our GPS was a bit difficult due to the main roads layout and naming oddities...B 3 1/2 Rd, for example. Once we found the campground everything was great. Nice... More

My wife and I stayed here in May 2015 with our 18 foot travel trailer. The staff found a spot for us even though we arrived without a reservation and they were nearly full. The facilities were clean and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The swimming pool looked very inviting; there was a well maintained playground for kids,... More

Spent two nights in Fruita and was very pleased. Cricket and Brian were very helpful and accommodating. Would stay again. Clean bathrooms. Only negative was the Internet. Very slow. Never have had good luck with that Tengo service. Terrific concrete biking trail that goes from Fruita to Grand Junction. Detoured off the path into the delightful downtown area.

We arrived late, and the staff was very helpful and friendly over the phone. They explained how to do the late check-in and find our spot. Everything was ready upon our arrival. The campground is not beautiful, and it is right on the highway so it is a bit noisy, but much less than I expected. The tent sites are... More
