This was a good RV park. We did an over-night stay with our travel trailer on the way to CA. Make sure you look at the surrounding roads on a map before you arrive...access from one direction is easy...from the other, not so much. But, after having our GPS "re-calculate", we arrived OK. Staff was great and very friendly. Services... More

We wanted to avoid long days while traveling to Denver, Co, so we decided Grand Junction, Colorado, would be a nice stop before the mountains and I-70. Finding the campground using our GPS was a bit difficult due to the main roads layout and naming oddities...B 3 1/2 Rd, for example. Once we found the campground everything was great. Nice... More

My wife and I stayed here in May 2015 with our 18 foot travel trailer. The staff found a spot for us even though we arrived without a reservation and they were nearly full. The facilities were clean and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The swimming pool looked very inviting; there was a well maintained playground for kids,... More

Spent two nights in Fruita and was very pleased. Cricket and Brian were very helpful and accommodating. Would stay again. Clean bathrooms. Only negative was the Internet. Very slow. Never have had good luck with that Tengo service. Terrific concrete biking trail that goes from Fruita to Grand Junction. Detoured off the path into the delightful downtown area.

We arrived late, and the staff was very helpful and friendly over the phone. They explained how to do the late check-in and find our spot. Everything was ready upon our arrival. The campground is not beautiful, and it is right on the highway so it is a bit noisy, but much less than I expected. The tent sites are... More

We stayed 3 nights while visiting the monument and wineries . The sites are gravel level and very clean with a small patch of grass , bathrooms and laundry clean service excellent, we usually stay in state parks but this KOA was slot better than most private parks!

I pulled into this KOA for the night and the woman at the front desk said that they were expecting a thunder storm. I had requested a tent site, being low on cash and just looking for a safe place to park myself for the night. We had a short chat about my travels (I knew the thunder storm was... More

First the staff is 5 star they are fast it took with 2 other people trying to check in less then 5 minutes, they then escorted us to our beautiful site. The grounds were very well kept my site was level and everything worked. I would bring a pressure regulator as the parks water pressure is over 60 PSI which... More

I recently took my travel trailer to the Grand Canyon and stopped at the Grand Junction KOA overnight both coming and going. This campground is excellent, with professional and helpful staff, clean restrooms and showers, and convenient hookups. It's also covenient for anyone heading for Palisade for the famous peaches this time of year! I definitely would recommend this KOA... More
