We found ourselves in Grand Junction unexpectedly over the weekend. There were two events happening & no rooms to be had. We were very lucky to find a room. The Mesa Inn was clean, Jessica & Brandon (front desk staff) were both courteous & competent, the pool was quiet, & we had no noise issues. In all, it was a... More

The hotel is definitely older and outdated but you can't beat the price. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a nice stay, albeit a little uncomfortable because the pillows were so worn out they wouldn't support your head at all (I forgot to bring my own pillow which I usually do on trips). The breakfast is nothing to... More

The beds were terrible you could feel the springs. The people above us were so loud and the manager didn't apologize of offer us to switch rooms. Totally ineffective. When you stay at a hotel you expect that you will be able to sleep. Not the case at the Mesa Inn.

Stayed here with a friend while we were in Grand Junction for a mountain bike race. Check in was a breeze and they had my reservation ready with my request for a ground floor room honored. Room was comfortable though not much room to store our bikes 😉. The shower had awesome pressure! Room had coffee maker, fridge and microwave.... More

I stupidily forgot to make a Friday night reservation in GJ, so for a reasonable price we were stuck with the Mesa Inn. I booked through the web and for the under $100 price we got a smoking room. It was awful. The smell of smoke was unbelievable and I was a smoker for 20+ years. The smoke detector was... More

The first room I went to the beds were made with the same sheets from the guest before me, The second was dirty, belongings were left in the room. Hair in the sink and tub. Floors were not clean. The manager did not care.

The rooms are small, it is definitely something out if the 60's. However the rooms are clean, the bed was wonderful and the people were fantastic. They offer free WiFi and a good continental breakfast. I was in town on business and my firm set me up with a new higher end hotel for the first night. It was alright... More

The price was okay (a special through Expedia) and it was convenient to get to, but the room was disgusting! Stained mattress. Bottom sheets were on upside down (which really had me wondering WHY?). Inner blanket was covered in hairs, dog and human, I was afraid to touch it. Pillows didn't have covers on them (the zippered, inner, cover) and... More

Good price, especially on a weekend. Nicely located, near 1-70 on ramps. A Denny's restaurant nearby, Applebys across the street and a Japanese restaurant as well. Older facility, dark, looked well used, could use an upgrade bigtime. I guess if it were not for the ants on the bed and nightstand, the poooooooorly functioning internet (nearly impossible to use); and... More

When I will stay only a couple of nights and spend very little time in a lodging (i.e. I just need a place to shower and sleep), I cut costs by choosing less expensive lodging. I just want a clean unit with the necessary amenities I require. Mesa Inn served its purpose for this trip: two nights in a clean... More
