Really enjoyed our stay here. It is an older vintage hotel but is in wonderful condition and very well maintained. Clean comfortable rooms and a great price. Owners were very nice and the breakfast was good. Will certainly stay here again when we come through Grand Junction.

...quiet, clean, comfortable bed, fridge, coffee for the AM, friendly and helpful owners...This was a one-night stop on a long road trip, and it's great -- I'd come back again if I'm ever traveling in this area again. I camp a lot, so for me, it's about meeting basic needs -- I don't need frills; AND, it's difficult to find... More

I booked this hotel by taking recommendations from the reviewers from TripAdvisor. Boy, I was not disappointed. When I arrived, the area around this hotel have become a little rundown. A strip mall across the street and other businesses surrounding it. I arrived and was a little worried about the look. It is older fashioned. But, when I went into... More

The Palamino is indeed a hidden gem. Among the corporate hotels that seem to dot every exit of our highways, the Palamino serves its guests with equal, if not higher service--at a fraction of the cost. The Palamino harkens to the days where the actual owners of the establishment greeted you and truly cared about your stay. I cannot more... More

This hotel was excellent. The Polish lady who owns and runs it was so very helpful. The only thing we were disappointed with was it was advertised as having a BBQ but when we got there it did not. However, we ate our evening meals (which we cooked in the microwave) sitting around the pool which was lovely. Tables and... More

Driving to the Grand Canyon from the East, this is an Ideal stop. The Motel at first sight does remind of countless Motels in the US. However, upon arrival, The owners where there to help us getting comfortable, and to advise us about dinning. The room itself was sparkling. Bed sheets clean and ironed as new, Bathroom spot clean, something... More

I would be remiss if I didn't leave a review of our stay... this motel sets the bar for ALL motor lodges. The owners take immaculate care of this treasure, and it shows. The room was cleaner than any place we've ever stayed; and never have I been asked at check in what type of mattress I prefer to sleep... More

It's a no-frills motel, but it was clean and comfortable, and the kids enjoyed the pool very much. We enjoyed chatting with the owners, who were very friendly and gave us a good recommendation on a nearby restaurant.

My friend and I stayed here a couple nights this month when I visited to explore Grand Mesa and surrounding areas. It surpassed my expectations. I booked here based on all the excellent reviews already posted. So much appreciated the "park at your door" experience....like the "good old days". I remember staying at places like this when I was a... More

The Palomino Motel was wonderful...built in the 1950's, the rooms were clean and very nice .The property has been updated, it has a pool, and my room had a fabulous memory foam mattress.. Ivanna checked us in quickly and gave us great information on local restaurants. (the recommendations were spot on) They provide a very nice continental breakfast which can... More
