Luckily we did not believe everything the camp host said! We just came back fr a 5 weeks road trip to experience America the Beautiful in a rented RV. We stumbled into an extremely rare gem, the (Federal) Stillwater Recreation Campground at the edge of Granby Lake, Co. Met the camp host after a short drive on site. We were... More

We have camped 3 times at Stillwater and have loved it. Campground Host Steve and Anna are wonderful. I disagree with DebbieAdkins because there has not been one time that we found the showers unkept. Yes they will get very dirty if the campground is full. As for ColoradoWeekender you always have to buy an ANR pass duh!!!! The sigh... More

We have enjoyed our stays at this campground many times. The view of the lake and mountains is great. But... we were VERY DISAPPOINTED this month when we camped there. The shower houses were unkept and unclean. There are three showers in each bathhouse, but in the one I was in, one of them didn't work at all and another... More

When you first enter this park the signage is too busy. One would assume you get camp spot and the pay for it. This year you have to buy a day pass before even finding a camp spot. If you don't you will be ticket.ed We followed the rules, found a campsite, paid for the campsite then setup camp. Less... More

Our biggest complaint is they didn't tell us that there was no hot or warm water for showers. They have a couple different sights for bathrooms but all the showers were turned off except one, which was ice cold and you had to walk pretty far to get to them. Very disappointing especially since there are many other campgrounds to... More

This is a great campground even with the removal of 99% of the trees due to recent beetle kill. (Note: The Google Earth satellite view is deceiving - the tree coverage shown is non-existent). That noted, the lake views were spectacular and access to bathrooms and showers is fairly easy. If RV'ing, the sites with the best views (270 degrees)... More

Breathtaking views, relatively quiet. Camp sites are along the lake with close access to the showers and bathroom facilities.
