I recently stayed two nights with the Trail Riders. Although there was no AC, the in-window electric fan did the job. Not a fancy place but family oriented. Our room had a queen in the first room and an interior door to a second room with another bed and dresser. Knotty pine walls add charm. There was a spot to... More

So glad you stayed at The Trail Riders! I love it when our guests can stay longer than one day as there is so much to do in our area! If you like outdoor activities Granby is a great place to be. Please come back and stay a few more days and enjoy! Most of all I would like to... More

Very glad we stopped here. Decor is rustic but the amenities are up-to-date. Our suite was two rooms each with a double bed. Everything was very clean and in good repair. The free wifi worked well, which isn't always the case. Great value for the money and within easy distance of several restaurants. Would happily stay here again.

This place had me at hello. LOL. Anyways the owners were nice, fun people and room was everything we needed. I liked that the back bedroom closed off for privacy. Breakfast area is a bit small but in keeping with the small size of the motel to be expected. Nice little porch area to sit a spell. Certainly a convenient... More

My single room was on the small side with an retro look and feel, from its knotty pine walls to its functional radiators with hot-water heat. Room was updated with a microwave, mini-fridge, large flat-screen TV, and Wi-Fi; however bring your own hair dryer. All was impeccably clean and I slept like the proverbial rock on a comfortable queen-sized bed.... More

The rooms were so cozy and clean. We had a 2 room unit, which was great. I liked the radiator heat as opposed to the forced air - didn't feel so dry. No pool or hot tub, but all the essentials. It had a small refrigerator, microwave and a kitchen sink. Very comfortable.

Thank you so much! It's true. Nothing fancy, but we try and keep it cozy and clean. To me that's what I look for when I'm traveling. Hot water heat is the best! We have people stay with us just for that reason. After a cold day of skiing or snowmobiling you know you will be warm at The Trail... More

We have been frequenting Trail Riders for several years now. Jack and Donna are so friendly and keep the rooms clean and cozy for all of their guests. We usually travel as a family and stay in one of the "suite" type rooms with a tiny private bedroom in the back of the unit. Our daughter just loves having her... More

Thank you so much!! We love getting a review from a guest that comes often enough that we feel we know you! You're right. You and your family have been coming for many years. We have watched your daughter grow from a little girl to a young lady. We look forward to seeing you a couple more times this year.... More

I usually do a "Rocky Mountain Loop" road trip every year, and I stayed here in June '13 and '14. Great, friendly, little place and a good spot to leave the next day going across Poudre Canyon and up into western Nebraska. I like to stop at the Tabernash Tavern (11 miles south), then grab a pie at Drive By... More

We stayed at Trail Riders Motel in Granby prior to traveling into Rocky Mountain National Park. Having stayed in West Yellowstone and Cody prior to Grandy, I really appreciated the great value this property provides (especially with the super-secret 2 person, one-bed discount: call direct, code TRM). Plus the place is just cute! Our retro room was quite large with... More

Thank you so much! We're glad you had a good stay. The rooms at The Trail Riders are not the biggest but we have tried to make them very useable. This room was clean and very small. The bathroom is even smaller but the shower was hot and had lots of water pressure. There were window fans which we needed even though it was late September. The day had gotten to 80 degrees so to be shut up in a tiny room you needed a way to get air flowing... More

We recently stayed here in #4, a two bedroom unit. Two queen beds and VERY comfortable. The bathroom has a new floor and toilet since we were last here. New carpet, too, I think.
