Great place to stay----great value. Right on main avenue, central location in downtown Granby. Family operated. Immaculately clean, always. Stayed here a number of times. Parking at your door. Comfort amenities.

I'd give it the best rating possible. My son and I had serious car trouble, and they made a hard situation so much easier, and memorable in a good way. It's an old motel, like the highway 66 type of my youth ( I'm that old) but upgraded, without losing that charm, very clean and pleasant. The old style neon... More

I really would like to thank you for writing such a nice review! I'm so glad you will always remember The Trail Riders as a warm and friendly place away from home. Lisa and Marc both work very hard taking care of every guest and making sure they do feel at home. They do all the work themselves and pay... More

Clean but small room with lots of attention to detail. The room was very clean and the flowers outside each room was a very nice touch. The owners were very friendly and helpful. There wasn't a lot of frills but there was free wireless and a tv with cable. Thanks for the great stay, I'll be back!

So glad you and your family had a good stay at The Trail Riders! We work very hard to keep things clean and up to date without loosing the "small motel feeling". We like when our guests feel at home. There is so much to do in the area, we hope you can come back and stay longer! Thanks again! More

Good old-style traditional family run motel. Simple good service. Simple modest room with all that we needed. Quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Convenient for the National Park. The owner happily gave local advice on eating out and local hikes.

Thank you so much for sharing with others the experience you had at The Trail Riders! We try very hard to advertise a mom and pop place. Lots of people love the homey feel of the smaller motels. We love it when our guests feel comfortable and at home. Please come back and see us if you are ever in... More

It is a basic motel. Nothing special. I have no specific complaints about it, it served it's purpose just fine, but certainly didn't have an amazing experience at any level. I don't mean to sound negative at all, but it was so highly rated here, I expected something special. The rooms are small with a queen size bed, like most... More

This is one of the older type motel properties that dont't seem to fair well any more. We decided to book it based on the good ratings on Trip Advisor & not disappointed. The outdoor appearance was very "homey". They had obviously upgraded to LED lights; the walls were gorgeous knotty pine; the bathroom sink was an older one but... More

We traveled by Amtrak from Sacramento, Calif to Granby, Colorado for a weeks vacation to tour The Rocky Mountain National Park and surrounding areas. We were able to walk from the train depot to the motel. The property is older but very well maintained. Our bed was comfortable and the front desk staff was very accommodating by helping us select... Cozy, clean and affordable. Right on the main drag in town. Excellent service. Within walking distance to several restaurants, which was nice since we had been on the motorcycle all day. Would stay here again if in the area.

a '50s retro motel on the main drag...hard-working folks keeping it looking good...clean, cozy, with cool neon...fellow guests, thankfully, were quiet during my stay...noise of Route 40 subsides at night...it was a good choice.
