This has always been an odd place. The quality of the cabins and activity venues is variable but the number of kid activities usually offset this. They have increased their lodging rates to the point that you can now get far better value renting a condo in the neighboring towns. In addition, they have cut back on the availability of... More

We stayed here over Christmas for a mini family reunion. We had a cabin and several rooms in one the lodges. Our cabin was tired and in need of sprucing up; but it was clean, comfortable and served its purpose nicely. The rooms in the lodge were clean, but also showing their age, are in need of renovation, and the... More

So, this place is certainly rustic, but perhaps that's because we stay in the yurt....during winter. We have never stayed in the lodging so I can't speak to that. They offer a great outdoors experience, and have a ton of things to do for fun. Ping pong, archery, rock climbing wall, ice skating, tubing hill, swimming, crafts, smores. Nearly all... More

When I reserved our room in the Silver Sage Lodge, I was promised a queen bed and two sets of bunk beds. When we arrived, we were directed to a room with only one set of bunk beds, which means our party was, needless to say, rather cramped. I was also told there would be a coffee maker in the... More

We have stayed a few times at Snow Mountain Ranch. If you read any of the reviews, you will notice that the location is amazing. Majority of the staff are great. And appropriately we had great experiences this time with staff and the beauty of the location. Understand that this is not a typical hotel with typical housekeeping. we were... More

We stayed at Snow Mountain Ranch for a week while on a retreat there with Project Sanctuary. We stayed in a 3 bedroom cabin and couldn't have been more pleased! We loved the wood burning fireplace, and it was wonderful to have a full kitchen. There was no housekeeping service which was just fine with us. We got some pretty... More

Our family loves Snow Mtn Ranch. I have an 11 and 8 yr old and there is something fro every gender, age, and activity preference. In winter we always take a day to ski at nearby Winter Park resort. The Y offers a wide range of activities from archery, rock climbing, tubing (winter and summer), games, rollerskating, swimming, hiking, organized... More

We reserved a two-bedroom cabin for the week before Thanksgiving looking for mountain peace. We arrived on snow-packed roads and checked into a clean, modern, well-equipped cabin with a full kitchen, two bedrooms and a gas fireplace. Don't expect maid service. They give you everything you need to take care of yourself, which is exactly what we wanted. Towels and... More

The views and setting were beautiful. The rooms despite being large and roomy were no better than a budget motel. Housekeeping was terrible: they made the bed that is it. The sinks and bathroom were not cleaned on day one, no fresh towels ever (we had to request them several times) and the second day housekeeping never showed up at... More
