Lovely setting with an absolutely beautiful hot springs pool, which is free when you stay at the lodge and open long hours. Didn't use the Spa of the Rockies, because the much older (and slightly cheaper) Yampah Spa is right next door with its vapor caves. “wonderful place, but smokers beware”

Stayed here and loved it. Staff was friendly and accomodating, beds and pillows amazingly comfy. It's worth the extra $10 a night to have a south-facing view of the pool. Most hotels in Glenwood Springs offer one free pass to the Hot Springs pool. The Hot Springs Lodge gives you unlimited access to the Hot Springs, and that alone makes it worth it.
