My husband and I had a lovely time in the 'romance suite'. We were there for a short stay on our honeymoon in somewhat of an off season. The room was romantic, and large, and the view was just absolutely wonderful. The hummingbirds were a delight to watch in the morning. I'm certain we will return more

We were so lucky to find the Sunlight Mountain Inn on a friends advice. We had been searching for a place to ski in Colorado that wasn't expensive or crowded. A bit concerned reading the previous review, but we know that everything is all in what you make of it. We stayed for 4 nights in early March. Much to... more

Dear Guest: As Innkeepers our goal is for each and every guest to have an enjoyable, safe and memorable experience at Sunlight Mountain Inn. We carefully read the Reviews, some more emotional than others and some a bit misleading. But, we feel tha the comments are certainly important in order to take actions, where possible, to correct a less than...

We took advantage of a Valentine's weekend ski, swim & stay package offered through Sunlight Mountain Inn, which theoretically made the weekend a reasonably 'good' value. Unfortunately the stay at the Inn was a big disappointment -- principally due to how the hotel is managed (or mismanaged as it turns out). We arrived on a Friday night and found a... more

I live in New York City, so the chance to get to a quiet location really appealed to me. We were going to the Hot Springs in Glenwood, but I didn't want to be near I-70 or any of the craziness. And I wanted to save some money, too. We found the Sunlight Mountain Inn and loved the location. It's... more

We stayed here the other night. I was not thrilled about the 15 miles from town up a country-bumkin road to get to it, but the inn itself is very cute. We stayed in the cheapest room, an attic room. It was very small with a slanted roof that you could easily smack your head on sitting up too fast... more

Located at the base of Sunlight Mountain and a 2-minute walk to the ski lifts, this property is a great place to stay and ski. Although the rooms vary in size and accommodation, you won't be spending much time in them if you're there for the right reasons. If you want the glamorous pompousness of Aspen then go to Aspen.... more

My husband and I went to Glenwood Springs for a much needed break! The Sunlight Mountain Inn was everything we hoped it would be. The Inn is very easy to get to - it isn't in the middle of Glenwood Springs with all the activity so we had the peace and quiet we needed. The room was comfortable and the... more
