We had a lovely three day stay at this B & B filled with all kinds of clocks to look at and hear stories about. The location is perfect for walking to the Hot Springs and downtown. Jan was so helpful with suggestions and even worrying about us being out on the road at a late hour. The breakfasts were... More

This was our first time staying at this B&B, & our first trip together as a couple. Peter and Jan made it a wonderful visit to Glenwood Springs. When I called to make the reservation, Jan asked many questions about our likes and dislikes for food, drink, etc. The reasoning on this questioning wasn't readily apparent, but I failed to... More

Cozy homelike setting with plenty of food for breakfast; suggestions for things to do during a rainy day and easy walking access to most Glenwood Springs attractions & restaurants (not that much additional food was required). More

Very Romantic for our 10 year anniversay; but would also be great to come back with the kids. Breakfast was truly amazing 3 course gourmet; definitely won't go hungry. Peter and Jan are incredible hosts and we could comfortably walk to the restaurants downtown, the pool, and even to the Adventure Park. More

Peter and Jan are caring, generous hosts. The home is gorgeous, decorated throughout with antique clocks and artwork. Our room was spacious, and charming. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding: Tasty and healthy, with fruit, homemade breads, apple pancakes, plenty of orange or cranberry juice, and dark coffee. Jan was especially helpful to us, using her experience... More

From the time we stepped off the train to our check-out we felt welcomed, pampered and relaxed! Our hosts were friendly, gracious and anticipated our every need. I've stayed at a lot of bed and breakfasts over the years and the 3 course breakfasts at the Lavender & Thyme were some of the very best I've had. Presentation and attention... More

I stayed at the Lavender and Thyme B&B for a week in March. My husband joined me for the weekend and then I stayed on for the week to work in town. We found the room very comfortable with extra touches to welcome us. Breakfast was served right at the arranged time each morning and was very tasty with lots... More

We come up for one night from the Front Range to enjoy the hot springs and a day of skiing. Lavender and Thyme was a treasure! Peter greeted us warmly and showed us around. The house was built in 1905 and has been appointed with beautiful furniture and art work from around the world (thanks to Peter's passion for collecting... More

We stayed here over a cold and snowy new years, we were always cozy in doors. The breakfast was pampering, they even altered their menu to serve our children waffles instead of the more adult delicious items. We got some Dutch Specials being over the new years. They often offered an evening snack if we happened to be around. It... More
