Every time we return we totally enjoy this B and B. The very best one we have ever stayed at. Not to worry about the "average" rating I gave on the bed. I just like very, soft fluffy mattresses and their beds are on the firm side. It is easy to walk to town for lunch or shopping. And my... More

This was our third visit to Lavender &Thyme. We rate it as our favorite B&B. We have been treated like royalty every visit. Everything about our visits has been excellent! Peter and Jan are wonderful hosts, the breakfasts are amazing, the accommodations very comfortable. We will be back.

Probably the best service I've experienced. Jan and Peter are excellent hosts, they really went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, memorable, personal and luxurious. As for the 3 course breakfasts, wow. Amazing and original courses. Can't recommend higher.

The place is delightful and comfortable, the hosts were lovely, the food was excellent, and I can't think of a thing that I would change about the B&B or our visit in Glenwood Springs. There was something for everybody in our group: horseback riding, fishing, gourmet food, an amusement park with a mountain roller coaster, caves, spa treatment, swimming, shopping,... More

Can't imagine I didn't write a review on this one, but apperently I completely forgot about it almost 4 years ago. But, fortunately, I'm covered by all the positive reviews since we've stayed there. I mean: everybody knows now about the breakfasts, about the hospitality of Peter & Jan, etc. All I can add is: we've temendously anjoyed our stay... More

My wife and I recently stayed here for a long weekend getaway. By far better than staying at a hotel, Jan and Peter were excellent hosts. They helped us schedule activities and gave advice on things to do. We followed their advice and were not let down. Overall Avery enjoyable experience. We stayed in the Rose room following other reviews,... More

The hosts were wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious! We skipped lunch both days because it was so filling and creative. What a perfect way to spend our anniversary. The room was comfortable and clean, the bed was high quality. Close to the main street, so walking to dinner and activities was easy. We wouldn't stay anywhere else! Worth... More

Our extended family stayed for 3 wonderful nights at Lavender and Thyme B&B. The owners, Jan & Peter, had every detail covered -- from the perfectly appointed rooms to the amazing and delicious three-course breakfasts. They were delightful company as well, and never hestitated to make local inquiries for us on various activities like horseback riding at Bair Ranch or... More

We stayed 2 nights with Peter and Jan, and it was wonderful - it is easy to walk down to Grand Street and across the bridge to the hot springs as well, but is just far enough back from the streets that it is very quiet as well! We stayed in the Columbine room, with the restroom across the hall,... More

It was my 50th birthday weekend with my husband. Jan and Peter went out of their way to include extra special gifts for me on top of all the other fabulous FOOD, knowledge, conversation, within their clean and beautiful home and surroundings. We will be back next year!
