We were a bit skeptical of staying at a "Motel" after hearing of the clientele that can frequent these places. We were pleasantly surprised by the condition, amenities and cleanliness of this "Motel". They even offered a Continental breakfast which was satisfying, although I'd like to suggest they add fruit to the spread. Otherwise was all very good. more

Having family living in the the area I have visited Glenwood Springs many times and stayed at many different places. Cedar Lodge was a great choice. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The rooms also have a small refrigerator/microwave which is a great convenience. The kids loved the indoor pool. We loved the indoor jacuzzi. On our... more

We were traveling through and I had a horrible pulled neck muscle so we decided we needed a night to relax in a hot tub so we chose Cedar Lodge. The lady at the desk was very friendly and answered all our questions without getting impatient even when she had other customers waiting. Couple of fast food restaurants close by,... more

This is NOT a five star hotel, but it's better than a 4 star. We were travelling through the mountains and had to stop for the nights. This hotel is a little bit off the beaten path, but we called the front desk and the talked us through and we got there with their excellent directions. The place was fairly... more

We stayed at the Cedar Lodge Motel over Labor Day weekend to celebrate our sons birthday. We booked a family suite direct with the motel. We loved the room, there was plenty of room, comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. It was great celebrating our sons birthday with a home cooked meal. We spent a lot of time at... more

My husband and I stopped at the Cedar Lodge Motel on our way home from Aspen after a long weekend of activities. We were pleasantly surprised with the comfort and amenities of this motel. We were able to relax in the indoor hot tub and sauna that evening and we enjoyed a nice continental breakfast the next morning before we... more

We stayed at the Cedar Lodge Motel this past weekend, overall it was ok, for sure not the nicest place in town, if you are on a budget this is an ok place to stay, upon checking in the lady at the front was not very friendly and was not very welcoming, our room was really dark and smelt like... more

Cedar Lodge is a MOTEL, not a full-service HOTEL. We do take pride in our property. Recently the motel was refurnished with new furniture, mattresses, bedding, etc. 24-hour surveillance cameras were installed overlooking the property. (SCARY PEOPLE??) Front desk clerks use discretion when renting to guests, when needed, however we do not discriminate against the working class. The following items...

I’ll try not to let the fact that I got a stomach virus before I arrived at this hotel get in the way of the facts. The motel itself is in a pretty good location, relatively quiet of freeway traffic. Glenwood Springs is located just off the freeway (I70) and tends to have freeway noise no matter where you are.... more

My family and I spent two nights at the Cedar Lodge Motel. We stayed in a room with two queen-size beds that had a small refrigerator and microwave. The room was very clean and nicely updated. The indoor pool was also nice and clean. The free continental breakfast was suffienct. We narrowed our internet search to the Cedar Lodge Motel... more
