We stayed in campsite C and it was easily the best one there. We set up our tent right next to a creek and had to cross a bridge to get to our site. Paddy was very accommodating and welcoming. The Hideout's location is perfect for exploring the Glenwood area for the day. I highly recommend this campground.

Apparently unless you are in a tent, you are not supposed to use the showers. The owner actually opened the outside door to the restroom and propped it open and began cleaning while I was in the shower, which does not have a solid door and towels hang outside the shower to have to open the curtain. I was very... More

Has the amenities you need, including coin laundry room & free showers. Nice little creek running beside some of the sites. No fires though. Recommend it for tent camping but not RV's. Wouldn't use for extended stay but nice for a couple of nights. Staff was friendly. $25.00 a night for tent camping. Only downside is half the campsite seems... More

Perfect place for us to stay overnight before heading to Hanging Lake Falls. Owner was very helpful and friendly, and the grounds were well maintained ($25/tent sit/1 night.) Showers were a good size (2 unisex, 1 in woman's restroom) and the water temp/pressure was perfect. Only bummer for us was no fire pit/grill for wood or charcoal. We got to... More

Spent a great Labor Day weekend at this site. The creek side tent sites were the best (site B). We had kids with us so the bathrooms were convenient. If you camp here, you have to check out near by hanging lake and grizzly creek trail.

We chose this "RV Park" because of it's proximity to Glenwood Springs, CO where we wanted to spend several weeks exploring. The city itself was all we could have wished for (definitly take the whitewater raft trip and see the Adventure Park caves if you are so inclined). We generally have great experiences when RVing and often meet the nicest... More

We decided to camp here after reading a review for the Amy's rv camping in glenwood springs. The owners were quite lovely, very nice but we feel we were camping in a mobile home park. There were or are many permanent residents here and we were pretty taken back when we pulled up into the upper rv loop. Many of... More

We chose the Hideout because it was close to Glenwood Springs, and accessible by bike on the Rio Grande Trail for quick rides into town. Turned out to be a lovely little spot to camp, with a nice stream and lots of huge old trees for shade. The owner was very friendly and helpful both on the phone when we... More

Good tent sites right by a small stream with no road noise. Owner was very friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Glenwood and want to camp. Trip Advisor says my review has to be at least 200 characters so I've type some more!
