We stayed in one of the upper sites in our 33 ft Motorhome. Love the place. Amazing views! Friendly staff. Wished we could have stayed longer and taken in a rafting trip offered at the resort. Overall, a great place to stay. Very very close to Glenwood Springs. Also, if you to...a hike up to Hanging Lake is a must!!!! more

I can't believe this place. The web site (and high prices) makes one think it's a wonderful place to stay. We made our reservations over 3 months ago for a river spot. We got there and they had rented our spot to someone else! The staff finally figured out to let us take another spot but not near the river.... more

At 4 minutes to downtown and hot spring pool this place is convenient and easy. My popup was fine here with trains and all. The price seems to be high as you could stay at the hotsprings hotel and get passes to the pool for the same if not less compared to a cabin/rv spots. Laundry, wireless internet, store, the... more

My family and I needed a camping spot in Glenwood Springs and a friend recommended the Glenwood Canyon Resort. I have two young children and needed a spot that allowed us easy access to activities. What a beautiful area! The Colorado River is right by the camping areas. The showers & bathrooms were conveniently located & clean. They had plenty... more

I have to day I was disappointed. The website makes the tent sites look secluded and rustic. Nothing like that. We reserved an upper tent site because I was worried about my daughter being too close to the roaring Colorado River. You could not park right up to it and it was literally like a 10X10 spot with a small... more

We stayed in the group campsite along the Colorado River. Compared to the other sites(which are right next to each other with no privacy), it was relatively private and nicely shaded. The families with younger children were very concerned with the proximity to the river, as the lower camp sites are right along the bank, but there is a boating... more

Glenwood Canyon Resort is the perfect place for the outdoorsman who truly enjoys a slice of the best of Colorado. We stayed at Glenwood Canyon Resort in a small RV (pop-up truck camper) and the experience was perfect. This is Quintessential Colorado at its best with rustic log cabins, and RV / campsites RIGHT OFF THE COLORADO RIVER. Each campsite... more

This resort was difficult to review for me. The cabins were great. They were exactly what we wanted/expected for our stay. The website accurately portrayed them. There was little or no train noise as previous reviewers mentioned. The representative I spoke to on the phone to reserve with was very nice and helpful. However, from the moment you walk in... more

Clean cabins - nice. However, the owners only want your money you sign a two page terms and conditions at checkin which is intimidating. They need to remember that we are GUESTS!!! if they do not want people to stay here they should just keep doing what they are doing - nothing. You are to keep the place clean but... more

I booked a resort cabin recently for 2 nights and was billed the full amount, which I knew was non-refundable. A few days before my vacation, however, I became ill and had to cancel my entire trip. I contacted them and asked if the would consider at least a partial refund under the circumstances. They refused, weren't the least bit... more
